Great Slicer in a Smaller Blade
Lots of cutting power in relatively small blade.Came very sharp out of the box. Sheath is a little light, but adequate and secure. Designed for a low hip carry option or horizontal carry. The sheath has extra grommets for paracord or "pull the dot" loops. The fit of the knife is perfect. Tang and handle line up seamlessly, the blade is straight and the edge angles are correct. One of the handle pins has a slight scuff/hammer mark on it, but that can be forgiven at this price point. The balance point of the knife is about 1/4" past center towards the butt end. This combined with the relatively light weight of the knife overall gives it a very fast and lively feel in the hand. My DPX HEST is lumbering in comparison. The knife has more of a utility look to it rather than tactical, though its quickness gives a tactical feel. The large belly and hollow ground blade make this knife and excellent slicer. The handle is comfortable and the flare at the blade end acts as a "guard" though I don't know that the guard is sufficient to protect my hand were I to do a full power thrust. The micarta is smooth and comfortable. The shape of the handle is comfortable and allows a solid grip in forward/hammer, reverse - edge-out, and reverse edge-in position. With reverse edge out the shape of the handle butt conforms nicely with the thumb if the thumb is over the end of the handle.Good for around the camp for chores, fire prep food prep. I actually use this knife at home all the time for food prep. I would not baton or do heavy chopping with this knife. The smaller size, hollow grind and blade tip shape would make me nervous that I would break, chip or roll the edge.Overall this is an excellent EDC, utility, small to medium game skinner, around the camp knife for most light duty chores, and it could also handle self defense.UPDATE - I've had this knife for 6 months now, and I like it more now than I did out of the box.The D2 steel is excellent - sharpens very well with Lansky 600 grit diamond sharpener and finished with stropping compound gets shaving sharp.I took this knife on a 3 day hiking weekend and it did everything a backpacking knife should do... though I did not try to baton with it. The tip is so fine that I was actually able to use it to remove some splinters.

Great service ,great product , that`s just great !
No problems , prompt delivery , great product. I wouldn`t hesitate to deal with CKWs again. If all the others were like them ,that would be nice ,but they are not .
