One of the best one for the price
A decent electro acoustic for the asking price. The guitar had good action right out of the box, though I'm considering restringing it with a set of better strings as the factory ones are not very "colourful" for my taste. The acoustics of this one are pretty good, considering the small body. Not on par with more expensive dreadnoughts but still considerably clear and deep. Cannot comment on the onbaord pickup as I have yet to plug it in an amp, though the tuner is fairly accurate. In addition the small size and slim neck make this guitar more playable and a joy to use.In conclusion, perhaps your best bet for a new electro acoustic at this price range (Got mine at £119).

Great guitar
Great product but the packaging left a LOT to be desired. Arrived apparently undamaged more by luck than anything else!

Beware the setup!
First, the good bits. The price of this guitar was pretty good compared with other sellers. After placing the order , I was given regular updates via text as to my delivery. On the day it arrived, I was out but the courier left it in my garage...no disappointment there. The packaging was in perfect condition, as was the guitar.Okay, now the bad bit. The factory setup of this guitar is woeful. The nut will need filed as Barre chord 'f' is impossible with my delicate fingers. The bridge will also need attention to get the overall string-height lower and the frets will need polished as string-bends are rough. The neck is pretty straight and doesn't appear to need adjustment. This may sound like a lot of grief, but most new guitars need some modifications and with many years experience, I will do this myself. When finished, I will have what I've been looking for...an acoustic that feels and plays like an electric. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the lousey setup.

I Love It, but maybe try it first?
Bought mine from a music shop Chester so actually had chance to try it out. I tried many guitars over many weeks but kept coming back to this one. I'll be honest, I bloody love it! She does have a quite rowdy tone un-amped due to the narrow body but she's bloody loud even un-amped. Can pretty much keep up with my Yamaha full dreadnought.Holds tune very well and has slightly shorter scale than the Yamaha so easier to play the dreaded barre chords! The styling as both a plus and minus point. Looks stunning and very eye catching but the shape also means you can't lean it against a chair very easily. I had to buy a guitar rack (which now has room for more guitars :) )

Awful setup!
This guitar took my fancy as I love playing acoustics, but love the freedom and playibility of electrics, and this Ibanez certainly is designed for those needs. Beautiful guitar, sounds lovely...now atleast! This guitar came with a lovely action, but was buzzing so badly on the second frett that it was nearly unplayable without a capo in the 3rd frett or higher. I could have sent it back, but after 2sets of strings, truss rod adjustements and some saddle sanding, I have just about got it how I want it. I guess the main point here is that the set-up from the retailer was awful, why not try the guitar to atleast make sure the customer can play it right away without 2 days of fiddling about with it? If it wernt for that, I would easily give this guitar 5 stars. It looks lovely, unusual with the double cutaway body and not quite circular sound hole, and it sounds and records lovely when plugged in. I must say that every guitar will be slightly different, and I probably got the only one that needed work done to it, but if you dont have the knowledge to sort the.problems out yourself, I might give this one a miss. Im delighted with the guitar now though and will keep it and enjoy it for a lifetime :-) or :-/ lol.
