AVFUniversal Pair of Speaker Stands - Black

Solid parts, rigid construction. Easy to assemble, looks good. I also liked very much that the set includes different bolts for speakers: my Logitech Z906 requires some inch type american thread bolts, which luckily were included, I would have had problems finding them otherwise. Highly recommend this set.

At first these seemed ok to assemble, straight forward and relatively quick. There is a large nut to fit and tighten on either side of the base where the pole goes through but I found when I got one tight the other was loose, and then tighten that and the other was loose again. The instructions say not to over tighten but after these problems it seems I did so now one doesn't tighten fully so the pole is wobbly. I was much more careful with the other stand and found not fully tightening the nuts wasn't too bad but it's not fully stable.The worst problem was the fittings supplied for connecting the speaker to the bracket at the top of the pole are too small (I was attaching to a bracket on my speaker but there is another fixing to go directly into a speaker). No matter how I tried I couldn't tighten this fully so the speaker wasn't stable and when I touched it would slip down on the bracket and then fall to the floor. I dug out some old nuts and bolts and fitted the largest I could and this worked. My speakers are small so I wouldn't feel confident with larger ones.The stands aren't particularly stable, especially the one I mucked up, but I've had no further problems and I've enjoyed the effect of surround speakers. These are the only ones I've had so I can't compare them to others.

Arrived as advised. Well packaged. Good solid stand bases. Easy to assemble. Used a bent wire coat hanger to pull speaker wire through each section before final assembly(made it so much easier). Once assembled the stands do seem a little 'wobbly' but the solid base keeps them still. Now have much better sound distribution from left and right forward speakers. Good value for money and would certainly recommend.

You get what you pay for.. it was almost impossible to put this together as 4 parts that screw together would not go on straight. Once up, the stands are not very sturdy and I cannot adjust the height as the 4 parts that screw together are required to do this. Very unhappy with product.

Great set of stands. I purchased 2 sets as I have 4 speakers. Very easy assembly, decent quality materials, lots of speaker fitting options provided.I would recommend if you want to replace old stands as footprint is not excessive.

Stands themselves are perfect and arrived in very good packaging however I have wharfedale satellite speakers and the 3 sizes of screws provided in the contents DON'T fit into the thread in the rear of the speakers so still searching for the correct size so I can use the stands

Very flimsy stands. I wouldn't trust these not to fall over routinely. Middle linkage made from plastic and doesn't fit tightly. These would be very top heady with anything other than very small speakers.

Really pleased with the stands, good quality and reasonably priced. Easily put together, only glitch really was trying to feed the cables through, a bit of patience helps here though.
