A great guide for an Aikido novice; very helpful.

Hard to say why this book was printed the way that it is. I had to try to read this with a magnifying glass but got tired quickly. From what I did read the book may be alright but the printing is absolutely terrible. It was hard to follow because of this. The pictures were small but with the magnifying glass you really have to squint. Too bad because I'm sure it meant well but I'm trying to figure out why such miniature print, was it because the printer was too cheap?

Photos too small to see clearly enough. Small pages with small photos. Worthless. Not the worst martial arts book but pretty close to it.

Entering for the first time a dojo could be a bit confusing especially when training starts with a majority of experienced akidoka.The book helps beginners with a Japanese glossary and sequential photos to illustrate basic techniques, a good support for the first six-twelve months of training.

I have shown this book to my Sensei (Black Belt 4th Dan) who says it is a very good book by a well known and respected author.I am very pleased with this book, the photographs are excellent and the step by step instructions are very good, it is a good aid to have when learning this martial art. Really pleased and would recommend it to everyone who is interested in Aikido. Thank You.
