OK, for the money (£30), this is a fantastic bit of kit.The front unsnaps, in you pop your phone, and then snap the front back on, locking the phone securely in place. It's a good system, and seems more robust than you'd imagine. It does cover the volume keys, so has buttons on top of them, but they manage to keep the nice clicky feel of the buttons below which is a good. The speakers, mics, camera, fingerprint sensor and headphone jack are unaffected, though the thickness of the case makes the fingerprint scanner slightly less easy to reach.It seems to charge the phone remarkably quickly, though I'd only rely on it being capable of one full charge, due to charging inefficiencies.The case build is good, but the material isn't the best choice; it's a kind of soft touch plastic that is slippery. Combined with the soft edges and size of the case this all makes the phone a little unwieldy with the case on. It would have been better had it had a texture, or perhaps a more grippy material.

For anyone with a power-hungry screen like LG's G6 smartphone, a battery case like this one sold by Newdery Tech has proved absolutely essential. Not only does it provide more than enough power for the working day, it gives the protection you would want too.I particularly like the reassuring additional weight the case adds to the phone. It makes it easier to sit in the hand as opposed to the very slippery phone on its own. The weight of it in a pocket reassures that your phone is still with you.The raised frame around the screen means the phone can be placed face down on a table without risk of scratching the screen. Hence, I can use the phone without an annoying screen protector and enjoy the screen quality as it was intended. (I have used it like this for almost 12 months and the screen is in perfect condition.)The recess on the back for the G6's wide angle lens allows for perfect photos when in wide angle mode, without the case encroaching into the corners of the photos (as I have experienced in the past on LG's G5 with cheaper, non-battery, protective shells).In summary, if you're considering buying this then please do so with confidence.

Worked well for nearly a year - I take case off sometimes to clean/dry phone - the LG is hardened & waterproof which is why I chose it - I like the message I get that there is water in charge point so please dry phoneHowever 1 year on the top part of the battery case no longer stays attached to the bottom (lugs gone) so it is no good to me anymore. If you just attach and leave it may be ok and survive longer I guess.

If you were going on long trips or camping this would be perfect but for everyday use its far too bulky and heavy to be used everyday in my opinion.

I had an external battery, but I found it awkward. I really like that a big battery is built-in to the case. I don't use it all the time, but when I need my phone for an extended time, like when travelling, I always use it.

I was thinking to buy another one because my stop charging until I read the feedbacks!!Is not only that after a 3 months stop working, I was so happy with it...I bought it on 15/08 and if a put the phone in the case it won't even turn on😞😞Not happy because is not cheap,
