A must have for car and home
I keep a pack of these in the car and they take up almost no space. They come sealed, fold flat and slip easily into the glove box. The foil is sturdier than it looks and reflects heat well, which is exactly what you want if you break down on a cold night or need to keep someone warm while waiting for help. Theyโre also handy to have at home. In a power cut you can wrap one around your shoulders and it genuinely takes the edge off the cold. You get six in the pack so youโre covered for more than one person and you still have spares left over. For the size, price and practicality theyโre hard to fault. If anything, Iโm tempted to pick up another pack so I can stash a few around the house just in case.

Saved my fathers life.
Bought these to add to my car's first aid kit, mostly on a whim. While on holiday in Scotland, my 75 year old father capsized his boat and couldnโt right it. He was wearing a life jacket, so he wouldnโt drown, but he was hit hard with hypothermia. We scrambled another boat, but he was in the water for a good 15 minutes. The other boat brought him to shore, he was blue, and we had at least a 30 minute wait for the ambulance to arrive. We wrapped him in these, along with warm bottles of water, while rubbing his feet and hands. These probably saved his life. If not for that whim, I wouldn't have a father right now. Just buy them.

Use these at my windows during heatwaves
I read an article online that said you can use these metallic blankets at windows during heatwaves, to help reduce sun and heat penetration - and these worked well. Check the dimensions before ordering. Worked for me. Best to place on the outside of windows, not the inside.

Using in the heat wave
Currently using these foil blankets attached to the outside of south facing windows. Easily cut to size. Masking tape holding them in place, even better is scotch tape , the magic tape.
