Incipio MT-237 Feather for The Motorola Moto X - Retail Packaging - Black

My first cell phone case in 10 yrs.I don't like a case that adds bulk (I don't like them at all) and this one certainly does NOT. It's very thin. So if you are looking for impact absorption, I'm not real sure you are going to get much.The only reason I purchased this was the Developer Edition is only available in white and I wanted to cover it to make it black. The other problem I wanted to solve was how slippery the DE version is. This does NOT solve that problem. The grip is pretty much just as slippery. I plan on using Amazing GOOP® Anti-Skid Epoxy, Clear 11 oz on the back of it to see if that will help and prevent me from getting another case.

Pros:- The case has a super slim profile, and still manages to have enough of a lip to prevent the screen from touching a table when layer screen-down.- The case is really light, and doesn't make the phone feel any heavier or bigger, so it's comfortable to keep the phone in my pocket.Cons:- It's a bit more expensive than comparable cases, but worth it because of the pros which the other cases don't seem to have.- The space around the headphone port is perfect for any headphones you might plug in, but if you're connecting your phone to speakers with a slightly fatter plug, you have to take off the case to fully connect it.

I'm very pleased that this case is ultra slim and doesn't take away the good look of my phone. All cases collect dust if you don't clean the inside often, but this product carries the least amount of dust from other cases used. Perfect fit to the phone and around the buttons, mic, and lens areas. Great price and a better deal than getting an oversized case three times as much at the mobile stores.

I really wish I could give half star ratings, because this case deserves 4 and a half stars in my opinion. I just see a couple of things I'm not ecstatic about, and they're fairly minor.Pros:- Super thin profile. I've looked (and bought) other cases that claim to be low profile. Compared to this, they are not. I haven't found anything even in the same realm yet.- Still allows you to move your finger all the way to the side of the screen, unlike many other cases. This is especially impressive as the case just snaps into place without a front portion- Does not cover up the volume and power buttons, which means the case provides them some amount of protection- Leaves plenty of space around the audio jack and micro usb portCons:- The case doesn't have a depression to go along with the dimple in the Moto X. It may seem silly, but I've grown to love that dimple and use it to hold and balance the phone and to know if it's right side up or not when I pull it out of my pocket and before I've looked.- This is so small that it may turn out to be a non-issue (I might give one more star), but I prefer when cases leave one big hole where the phone speaker is, rather than the small perforations. I feel that sometimes that leads to odd rattling sounds or poor speaker performance. But I will monitor it and see.

Incipio featherweight cases are great for making slippery phones like the moto x manageable and give just enough protection (like on corners and front) to keep safe in most falls. And you can still fit in cases and car mounts.

It took a while to find a case that wouldn't add "bulk" to your pocket yet still stopped nicks and dings. Incipio nailed it.Slim profile and a great fit that doesn't detract from the clean design of the phone. The material has a nice feel in your palm and maintains a "professional" appearance.Adds the right amount of protection to prevent any damages that may be caused by simple wear and tear.

Just shattered the glass after dropping the phone face down while in the case on a vinyl floor. I bought both this and the Otter commuter to see which I liked best. The Incipio felt much better in my hand and I chose to use this one as I seem to only drop the phone indoors.

Lovely texture! I just wish they didn't remove the dimple on the back of the Moto X itself. Aside from that, the case grips very well and stays put in a moving vehicle cubby. No sliding. No scratches.

Product is good. A bit pricey but Super thin and light weight. Feels smooth in hand without adding extra bulk.Recommend for those who want a minimal protection with great style and comfort.Delivery takes longer (arround 12 days).
