good product
i typically never leave reviews but the hate on this product is crazy, for a beginner its not bad at ALL. i dont see a problem with the springs being too tight like everyone is sayin. if you just lookin for something cheap just get this one

Stiff springs
Its great, but I had a lot of trouble getting the harmonica inside the holder. The springs are very stiff. Maybe I am weak, but it feels like its more difficult than it should be.

I must have for any guitarist
As stated in the title, I'm a guitar player. This holds my harmonica's perfectly. I have a set of seven harmonicas which I use and it is not very hard to change harmonica Street accommodate a different key between songs. Yes I would recommend this to a friend

Screws and wingnuts stripped after 15 minutes use, low quality product
I received this item today. The price was great - $29.99 - however the quality is terrible. I have used it to rehearse two songs, probably fifteen minutes of use, and the wingnuts and screws that tighten the two arms of the mechanism are already stripped, making the "shackle" that holds the harmonica easily fall away from my mouth when I play. Obviously, because I'm playing guitar simultaneously (otherwise I'd just use my hands to hold the harmonica) this makes it useless. I'll go to a hardware shop and see if I can get better quality screws and wingnuts. Conversely, the spring loaded mechanism that holds the harmonica in place is incredibly tight and makes it difficult to switch out harps comfortably. Do not recommend. Note to self: you get what you pay for, dummy.

Works for my Kazoo!!!!
I just started Ukulele lessons and I discovered a YouTube video showing something like this holding the kazoo while the musician played “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” I had to purchase both a kazoo AND this gadget. Now I am HAPPY and not worrying as much!!!! LOL!!!

Spring is very tight
This is not the highest quality harmonica holder out there, but I was having a hard time finding a 10 hole holder. The spring is extremely tight so I cut a few turns off with some wire cutters and it is managable now. What I do like is that it holds the harmonica much more securely than my 24 hole holder.

Awesome value
I still use it to play shows. It’s an awesome harmonica bracket for the price. The only thing I wish it had a little better is a sturdier design because it’s kind of drifts as you’re playing, but I’m sure I’ll be able to fix it with a little more tension on it so all in all five out of five be careful when transporting or storing because it easily bendable .

Good for the money
This harmonica holder is stronger than it looks ,only had it a short while son can’t comment on longevity, it is as others say difficult getting the harmonica in the holder ,however once it’s in it’s not going anywhere, frame feels sturdy and the adjustment is good . UPDATE - having used this for several days , I find that it’s becoming easier to get the harmonica in the holder ,think the springs are less harsh therefore better to use ,so maybe a little patience is key to getting the springs worn in a little .
