Is this year device better in past years always had problems with screen protector or tempered glass coming off over time

I think anything with a curved screen will peel. I've had a different brands protector on since march and it's already starting to peel. Flat screens are definitely better.

You'd do better asking in the Spigen Thin Case page which glass fits - people who have this film won't necessarily have that case so won't be able to answer you.

Is this compatible with Spigen Tough armor case without peeling off?

Yes it fits, but a real hassel to get it on the first place, lasted about 2hrs before it started peeling

How is the in screen fingerprint sensor affected?

It's not affected. Works perfectly. You may have to rescan fingerprint but for me I didn't have too
