The media could not be loaded.  Having tried several so-called "universal" adapters which, despite the measurements of my tap being correct, didn't fit my tap at all, I tried this as a last ditch effort to provide warm water to my children's paddling pool.It is more expensive than most, but worth every penny! Once I had cleared the limescale from my tap, the end part of it was easy enough to unscrew. I didn't need the ring adapter. The main part of the adapter screwed in easily into the end of my tap, and the tool was perfect for tightening it.The water runs perfectly without any leaks at all and the filter actually improves the flow. The grey plastic hose adapter can now be added whenever I need it. As you will see from the video, it works perfectly!

This is a very useful and effective tap splitter. It is simple to install and does not leak. I left it while away on holiday for 10 days and am pleased to say that it functioned perfectly. I had one tap on a slow drip and the other hooked up to a timer (bought separately) for a daily watering. The little orange dials let you control the flow of water to just what is needed.I bought a more expensive garden water hose splitter at the same time. The more expensive one is on the garage shelf, but this simpler, more straightforward one is still in use. I find it extremely helpful to have one hose going to a sprinker and the other to a watering nozzle gun. It saves me a lot of time and hassle in disconnecting and reconnecting the hose.The material being plastic, it receives 4 starts instead of 5. I expect that it will last only a few years before needing to be replaced due to the plastic becoming more brittle and eventually developing a leak or crack. But in terms of value for money, this is a fine item, and recommended.

I was slightly dubious on receipt that the item is made of plastic as the previous connector was metal. But it’s absolutely brilliant as there is no dripping at all compared to the former model when the tap is turned on. The only slight problem I found was that it needs to be screwed around the tap at the wall rather than using a push-up male/female connector. I encountered a bit of scraping on each side of the Gardena as it spun around hitting the wall at each turn! My tap is not noticeably close to the wall but I missed this detail when I ordered the Gardena. However, once installed I am very happy with it.

Been trying for years to fit my hook tap this is absolutely brilliant easy to fit who ever came up with this idea needs to get a pat in the back

It's a great idea, except they ruined it by including a cheap, badly designed tap head size adapter. If you have the bigger tap size already, then you won't need to use the adapter and you'll probably be fine, but if like me you DO need it, then it goes something like this:Remove your existing aeratorScrew on the sizing adapterScrew on the main adapter to the sizing adapterUse the included wrench to tighten the main adapter (it DOES need tightening, or it leaks)The problem is... and this is so stupid... when you use the wrench to tighten the main adapter, this tightens the sizing adapter on to your tap too - and when you untighten the main adapter, the SIZING ADAPTER STAYS ON YOUR TAP!!!It sticks fast. There's no way to get it off. It's shiny and has no method of gripping it whatsoever, with a tool or otherwise. Unlike the main adapter, there is no way to connect a spanner to turn it. Other sizing adapters have a hex shape at the bottom or are shaped to take a spanner, or at least have knurling. This one has nothing.I had to damage it in the end just to remove it. It's made of really flimsy thin metal so as soon as you grip the bottom or apply pressure to the sides it'll bend or mangle the threads.So disappointed that a good product is let down by a cheap adapter. On the first and only occasion that I got to use it, it performed acceptably with only very minor leakage under pressure when the garden hose was off, and almost no leakage when the garden hose was releasing water.

It takes a lot of fiddeling to get this attachment onto the provided metal mount. That is a headache!!!!Gardena things usually fit easy and snugg. This one is a struggle. For the name and the price I would expect something better much better!!!Apart from that, it is a good solutionEverything else is up to the mark. I changed the washer ring....
