JETech Case for Google Nexus 7 2013 Tablet, with Stand Function and Auto Sleep/Wake (Black)

Fits well, looks good and is excellent value for money.There was a problem with it initially. The auto sleep/wake function was very hit-and-miss - sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. This was disappointing since it's one of the main reasons for having a cover in the first place.I did some research ... Googling reveals that the magnetic sensor that controls this function is on the lower left side of the tablet - a bit of experimenting with a magnet locates the precise spot. This case has a magnet at the corresponding point in the flap. OK so far. The problem was that the flap - perhaps because it was new and a bit stiff - didn't always lie flat against the tablet (see image). This holds the magnet just far enough away from the sensor to stop it working - sometimes.I guessed that the flap just needed a bit of loosening up, so I left it folded for a ​​​​while with a weight on it (see other image). Voila, problem solved.With this fixed it's perfect. Recommended.

How this product is of use to me:Houses my new nexus 7 very well. The magnetic cover utilises the on off function of the tablet well and it is light whilst offering great, light weight protection.The closest I can describe this as, is the excellent apple ipad case, in that the flap folds over in a kind of triangle to offer upright viewing. The case has a leather look whilst offering pvc type protection.What I feel potential buyers should consider before buying this:No negative aspects. Good case for the Nexus 7 2013, which is robust and rather convenient to use:- the holes are correctly placed for the speakers, camera, buttons and jack- the top cover can be folded or used in two positions to keep the tablet in a comfortable viewing positionIt also uses a magnet to automatically wake up the tablet, which on one hand is nice since the buttons are badly placed on the Nexus 7 2013 (almost impossible to press them without taking the tablet in hand), but on the other hand those magnets disturb the embedded compass so you won't be able to use it with this cover. It's the common drawback of this magnet-based wake-up system.The finition is very well made and pleasant to hold, with a mix of good quality plastic at the top and bottom edges and imitation leather on the outside surfaces, synthetic on the inside. The clip seems to be strong enough and durable, while not too hard when removing the tablet.

I am very pleased with this case, bought as a replacement for a previous (non-JETech) case which was a bit worn after a year. This is a big improvement - the case holds the Nexus very snugly, but without covering the edges of the device, meaning less grot gets caught in the edges, and it is pleasingly slim (much more than its predecessor case). The fold-back stand works very well for viewing in landscape, and folds back flat to enable the tablet to be held comfortably in portrait. It is very soft and comfortable to the touch. The only fault I can find is that the case is not likely to prove especially durable - after a few weeks it is showing a couple of nicks and scuffs. However, I'm confident that it will last a year or more and, at the price, represents amazing value, meriting five stars - I won't hesitate to purchase another in due course.

1/ On sale in Amazon and shown as a Prime Delivery item. For those that do not know Prime delivery promises NEXT DAY delivery for Prime members alongside many other benefits. I am an Amazon prime member. Unfortunately, my experience of the next day delivery runs at about a 40% failure rate so now I only use it when I really must have the item really quail and hope that the promise is fulfilled.2/ All that said, I elected to take the “no rush delivery” option which in turn rewards with a credit to pantry or digital items dependant on the purpose. Taking the official ’no rush’ slow delivery into account I can then state the delivery time, on this occasion 7 days, including the order day and receipt of delivery day. Prime, next day should be faster, even if the next day is not honoured BUT DO NOT RELY ON IT.3/ Bought for the mother in law, this case does exactly as it should. It fits her small tablet giving good protection for front and rear and most importantly corners. It is slim and works well for viewing in landscape, it folds flat to enable the tablet to be held when in portrait position.4/ The magnetic latch clicks the front down, it has to click in an exact position. When closed against the screen, auto switches the tablet into sleep/lock. The camera hole and the access to the tablet's side buttons are correctly placed and no trouble to access.5/ A reasonably durable product in a black design. Bought as a prime delivery item, even the no rush variety, this case represents reasonable value when compared to high street costs but I would not be willing to pay more, in total, than its current delivered cost at £6.95, June 2016. It is cheap and will wear out somewhat quicker than a decent purpose made leather cover. Premetto che il prodotto dalle foto risulta leggermente usurato a causa dell'uso intenso che ne faccio da quando è arrivato il prodotto. Il materiale è davvero ottimo per il prezzo del prodotto. Da quando è giunta nelle mie mani, come ho già detto, è rimasta appiccicata al mio Nexus7 tale da essere diventato un tutt'uno quasi. Le caratteristiche più importanti sono: il ridottissimo peso della cover e la sua praticabilità. Non da alcun impaccio, aderisce perfettamente al tablet e nell'inclinazione non da alcun problema di stabilità. Dopo un paio di cadute è quasi del tutto illesa la cover e ancora meno leso è il N7 presente al suo interno durante l'impatto (disgraziatamente). In conclusione è veramente un ottimo prodotto per il prezzo con cui viene venduto.

Después de más de un año de uso intensivo desde que la compré, la funda esta totalmente perfecta, no se ha roto por ningún lado ni se ha puesto fea y los imanes de cierre siguen en su sitio. Encaja a la perfección con la tablet y la protege muy bien.

This is a very nice case for your 2013 Nexus 7. Case fits very snug, and have a nice feel to it. I like the magnetic close feature that turns the screen off.I also enjoyed the feature where the back folds onto itself in a triangle of sorts to provide a "kick stand" like feature to prop up the tablet so you can use it hands free to watch movies and whatnot. Very handy indeed. This part also has a magnet so it stays secure. Everything about this case is great.I only wished my tablet didn't stop working a day after I bought it so I could keep using this case!I highly recommend this case. It's simple, inexpensive, and does the job.

Looks good...so far. Hopefully it will stand up to daily use. Fits well, front cover folds nicely back into a triangular shape that make a simple handle which I find helps when reading an eBook. Internal magnet locks the cover in place when folded back in triangular shape. All ports and controls are accessible. Lots of clearance for the speakers.
