the p7 torch slides in, lens up which allows the on/off/dim button to be operated from the space at the base. when the top is closed it fits snugly against the lens and the top has a cut out space in which the filter neck is stored, meaning the filter works whilst the torch is holstered. why would you want to do that? well the holster/pouch has a very sturdy swivel clip so i can twist it through 90 degrees and clip it to the shoulder strap of my backpack, allowing the torch, at shoulder height to shine down in front of me with the filter in place if i wish. very well thought out.or you just remove the filter neck, basically a rubber collar, slightly wider than the lens, which slides over the lens to hold your chosen filter in place.the pouch has a tight pocket to keep the other coloued lenses and is about the same size as the original pouch which comes with the p7, although it has the swivel mount on the back.i would use this mounted on my shoulder straps rather than a head torch, meaning i only need one torch, not two.

The main reason I got this wasn't what it was designed for - so the limitations are due to that really. This is a sturdy holder that allows you to use the torch with one of the included filters. Rather than wanting a specific filter for hunting etc I was after a means of easily swapping filters in the field for photographic effects, and that's where this falls down - it's incredibly fiddly to remove and add the filters - and there's no easy way to transport the spares, the slot designed to hold them is too tight to be practical.If you want to use just one filter habitually then this will be great, and I think that's what it's designed for - so I've rated it with a four stars to reflect the build quality and the functionality for what it's designed for.

I wanted a case that would protect my lenser torch, which of course it does being a lenser product, but be warned it big and bulky. it comes with the same clip as what is supplied with the torch so its stable on any belt.the quality of the filter lenses are great, but one down side was where the filter lenses were stored. They were right at the back below the clip and what a bugger they are to get out, being made of glass too, i struggled so much that i cut my finger on one of then lenses somehow, so i tend to keep out the filter glass i use the most on the top of the case

I wanted a small powerful torch with a small number of features. I mainly use it on the lower of the 2 power settings for walking at night and it's more than sufficient to light the way. I occasionally use the higher power setting to see things further ahead, and the directional beam can easily light up things over 100 yards away.Suits my needs well.

Pointless item , as you cannot zoom the torch when its in the case ?!? Well made but pointless, ill end up just using the filters and chucking the case .

I bought this case mainly for the filters. Works great filters come off the case and fit onto the torch. Quality case and filters.

Good delivery time.Very good product well worth buying I've got a p7 torch I use for lamping dose the job very well. Can use the filters with out the pouch.

Too small for the P7.2. Seems good quality. Returned the same day so not tested.
