Our Sigg flask has been used for years as a sports bottle at badminton and the gym. The turn and pull out cap has always been tight - we thought that was how it should be. Fortunately we always has a towel with which to grip it. I was going to throw it away because the rubber seal had discolored but I decided to try a replacement cap. The whole thing is now back to being our 'go to' drink container, especially for rambling during COVID lockdown. It opens and closes easily, but is trustworthy sealed when closed. Much better than buying a whole replacement.

Bought as a replacement for the original one that got damaged in a fall. Works as it should so perfect !

These should come as standard with SIGG bottles.They are slightly better than the old models - they lock into place as well as just turn.Great flow of liquid, natural drinking action, never leak, easy to clean.Neat and robust.

Horrible product. First of all you struggle with one-hand operation. Top has to be twisted to be opened. This is very hard to do with lips. You can try biting it and twisting but that doesnt always work. Secondly once you open it the top part will fall back into closed position under gravity if you hold your bottle upright. This forces you to pull on the top part with your teeth to prevent it from closing down all the time. Thirdly (you may be wondering why im using it with my teeth, not lips) its very easy to get your lips pinched between the base and the tip. To the point of light bleeding. Happened multiple times to me.Literary a sports cap from a disposable water bottle bought in your local supermarket does a way better job! And you pay £6.25 for this... purely cause of the brand, not function.Added a second star only cause build quality is solid and it doesnt leak.

This is excellent - unscrewing the original top to my SIGG bottle has become quite onerous at times, especially when I just want a quick swig of water in the classroom. I find that you have to be careful when screwing the original top back on as well, it often doesn't sit right. This is so much easier, the flow if liquid is perfect.Make sure you wash it thoroughly before using it for the first time - a couple of strips of black coating came out own the wash, just extraneous material and nothing serious.So far it hasn't leaked when sealed either.

5.5 GBP for a small plastic cap is what I call a rip off.The cap is great - it's an excellent cap for use on the road while cycling.I'm happy it's well made, but I'm not happy at the exorbitant price.
