I just received this blower. I charged both batteries but encountered a problem. The battery inserts just fine, but when I try to remove it, it sticks. It sticks hard. I'm smart enough to know that the button must be pushed in. I have to slide a screwdriver between the battery and the housing of the unit to get it to slide up a little so that it can be removed.I tried blowing a few leaves inside the garage and it did the job, but had to be set to it's highest speed. I am used to a gas one that blew 250 MPH. This one will take lots of getting used to. It's light weight and that is a plus. It's nice to have 2 batteries, if I could get them out of the unit! I tried a little dab of Vaseline on the sides of the rail on the battery, but it didn't help. It is a mistake in design.Update: I've had the unit for a year. I do not use it often because of little power. It doesn't blow hard enough to clear the sidewalks after mowing, I use it for small areas. Yesterday, I had to switch from one battery to another because there is only 5 minutes run time on each battery, I would not recommend this product.

Even at full power it doesn't do much good and 15 minute battery life doesn't seem enough. I guess that's why you get 2 batteries.
