Rite in the Rain Monsoon Field Wallet, 3.5” x 5.5”, EDC, Water Resistant TPU fabric (No. P971-M)

Great companion to the M947 Rain Shadow pouch easily fits inside. The notebook cover is well constructed and will hold a field notes notebook and a top bound 3x5 notebook easily. My only complaint is that I had to trim my notebook to fit the slot. The rounded corners make it easy to slip into your pocket.

Durable! Has kept my pocket notepads from getting torn up. Somewhat large for a pocket, especially when carrying a large smartphone. Can easily be slid in your backpack or back pocket for your EDC notepad. Good value, and great quality just like every other Rite in the rain branded product that I’ve purchased.

I think this is my first review. I love it. Going to get the field notes version, this one is for the passport (feels really smooth in the hand, premium) and I found the larger one which was hard to find https://a.co/d/01l74HRK Im going to get that one too. Maybe pair it with the diodrio 17"? Zipper pouch(Havent tried this yet).

the size of this wallet is was an issue for me because I bought it with the intention of using my already purchased oucaru notebooks from amazon. but it doesn't fit even though they are suppose to be the same size. I say this wallet is on the smaller side and doesn't fit regular notebooks. but I purchased some 3"x5" in a vertical look hopefully those fit this one, ill update

Carried this wallet for a year now no issues. Still looks brand new apart from the fraying on the edge. Take a knife to it and shave those off and it'll be fine. The band shows no signs of stretching. I do still wish I would have got the one that holds the notebook in place. If you're on the fence about that go get the other one.

I really dig this one. Fits “field notes” sized notebooks well. Sturdy enough to jot quick notes on unsupported, gives you the hardcover feeling, but it’s still flexible. Quit reading reviews and just buy it. I highly doubt you will regret it.

I am a long-time user of rite in the rain notebooks. In the military and as a civilian - big fan and it always met the challenging environment. This cover is a nice add to compliment their paper. It’s not a waterproof cover but it is water resistant, rugged and appears it too will hold up to the elements protecting your notepad.

Wasn't sure I would like the wallet, as I had been carrying a normal wallet and it became a dumping ground for receipts, cards and random papers. This wallet only holds 6 credit cards/IDs and the space for cash is thin. But it forces me to keep it very minimally full. And I realized I loved it. I added the Rite in the Rain notebook to scratch down anything I needed to remember. Love it. Very thin, my back and butt love it. Sturdy, well made.

Top quality, amazing price. The inside flap where a notepad doesn't go, some think it is, is more likely and accurately for folded money and receipts. The notepad you'd put in the outside flap needs to be a specific size to fit. My only criticism is there is some unused space but it's still a 5* buy.

Works perfectly, can fit 2 moleskin caheirs or 2 field notes books easily, extremely durable and holds cards of you want it to! 10/10 would definitely recommend the only thing id say it could improve on is either a band to keep it closed or some sort of clasp

Excellent quality, but be sure you check the size of the card/notebook openings. Only very small notebooks would fit.
