1"x12" Christmas Advent Candles - Set of 6

Having the need to find candles to fit tall antique Art Nouveau candle sticks, which were made for candles with a 1 inch diameter ( a rare size these days ) I finally came across these excellent candles.Not only do they have the desired diameter and proportions, but being Advent candles,they have the attractive purple,pink and white colour range. They also benefit from a significant amount of beeswax in their make up, which gives them a pleasant smell when burning and very good stable combustion ( no spluttering or random drips !).The individual cost works out at about £2-70 per candle, which is pretty good considering the quality and potential "burn-time", so I am well satisfied with my purchase !

These candles are so much better than the ones we used to use. They don't splutter or spit and burn evenly. We have a lot of Christmas services so needed to break into a second set for more purple ones. Being able to buy purple ones separately would be wonderful.

Candles used for Advent Wreath, good quality, burn well and evenly. Excellent colour for the Advent season. Very useful to have the extra purple one as a replacement. Will buy next year!

Items delivered on time, well packed, and as described. Now ensconced in wreath in church, behaving well and looking good.

These candles lasted longer than any we have used before. They burnt steadily. Would strongly recommend them.

Arrived promptly and well wrapped. Disappointed to find they were dipped, not coloured throughout. Church quality? I thought they burned away quite rapidly. Rather difficult to relight .

I was unsure when the candles arrived that they would be fit for purpose as they were in rather old packaging. However, they have been used at Church in the Advent wreath and have burned brightly and slowly. I would order them again.
