Quality connector
Will be using 4 of the 10 for an automotive project and needed a connector that was water resistant. I've had the kits where you install/solder the pins, but those are getting a little tough for me to do. These are pre-assembled. Tug test on the wire leads and the connector doesn't pull apart..good. Seal is good, might want to put just a very, very small amount of dielectric grease on the seal to make dis-assembly easier if you need to take them apart later. The 16ga wire is silver colored, not copper, and solders together great.

A nice kit to have on hand...
I've been looking at a lot of bumper mounted lights this year for the Jeep. Most do not come with any kind of harness or plug on the input side of the light. Having already installed a full DT style harness at the bumper and the A-pillars, it made sense to quickly add a DT female side to the light however it's set up and then have a common fitting that I know will work during the testing & evaluation. Once finished it's easy to pop the wiring apart and move on to the next set. If it's a long term test I hardwire the light to the DT wiring and make sure it's ready for weather and whatever else may come. This is a nice kit with ample gauge wire, shrink tubing and connectors that are wired right and ready to go. I like 'em.

The best part when using one of these connectors is that the plug is water tight, and can unplug easily. No issues.

I have a truck with a lot of auxiliary lighting made by RIGID. I used these connectors in all my custom wiring and believe they are the best quality of all the various types I’ve tried.

Looks like a decent quality Chinese product. I’ve only used 1 and haven’t introduced it to moisture so I can’t say how long it will last or how effective it is against the weather. But I do anticipate I won’t be disappointed.
