Can standard top be replaced with a glass top?

No, or at least i wouldnt. There are 3 metal plates that bolts run through to attach the top to the rest of the structure.

It was easy to assemble for us. 30 to 40min job.

Does this table come in a smaller size like say a 48 in length size

I think the options were color, not size.
