superb price and excellent product

For a budget model it does what I wanted to track electrical cables quickly and easily and is not flimsy plastic. The case is pretty good but the zip failed after only a few days despite the material being pretty robust. Solved with a velcro strap. Really should be a wrap instead. Be sure to disconnect from wires as it does fry immediately otherwise as I found. Be useful if it was fused to cut off before the current got to the circuit board. Still my own fault.

Great toner for tracing cables, don’t like shape of toning wand but this is minor, Oder next day (to Northern Ireland) and it did just that unexpectedly. Toner works great easy to use and loud tone through cable

Stopped working after very little time.I’m out of the U.K. until after the return expiry date.Not fair that I’m £40 out of pocket for such little usage. Managed to track about 12 cables on a ship. Thanks a bunch.

Feels light and of poor quality construction, which is to expected at this price. I don't use it that often though so i'm sure it will last quite a while. I've had the chance to compare it to professional models while working alongside full-time AV installation technicians and its performance compares well with their much more expensive bits of kit. Fine for occasional use, and an essential time saving device for a number of applications.
