Works great for me lifting lifting about 300kg of cylinder lawnmowers.
Great bit of equipment and great value. Its similar to lifts sold by Sealey but much cheaper. Instructions could be better but if you bought this to fix your bike or whatever then it should be well within your ability as it requires almost no assemble other than a few nuts and bolts. The bleed screw on the hydraulic jack is very sensitive to adjustment just a few degrees of turn will result in a significant change in the rate of decent. As others have mentioned the ascent can be jerky if you do not apply a smooth slow, fast, slow foot pumping action.I use it for lifting to a suitable work height heavy lawnmowers like ransomes or dennis which weigh from 50 to 300kg. For this it works as well as anything else I could buy and at several £100 less than machine mart or SealeyThere are 2 height locking positions one at about 40cm and one about 70cm. You just slide the big metal bar provided through the holes on the opposite support arms to the jack.To make this a super bit of kit I would weld on 4 outriggers at each corner of the base to increase stability but if you are sensible and don't unbalance the table lift by climbing on or shifting all the weight to one edge then it should be within its limits as is.

Didn't really know what to expect despite reading the reviews. However, the platform works really well and is very good value. Someone else noted that you would be wise to tie the bike down to avoid that wobble as the platform is raised. Not surprisingly as you apply foot pressure on one side there is a tendency for the for the whole platform to wobble slightly. It is not dangerous but is slightly unnerving first time you lift your pride and joy two feet in the air!One word of caution however, I chose the wider platform as my BMW tourer is quite wide and getting it onto the platform you do need somewhere to put your feet if you ride it onto the lift. Although the lowest height is good it is not flat and so unless you have very long legs there is still around an eight inch drop to account for. I usually put a ladder along side so that I can put my feet down. Once the bike starts to topple it is a weight to prevent falling over! I would recommend this lift as a great tool and at a good price.

Budget price, but certainly not budget quality
This is the toy I've wanted for a long time and I wasn't disappointed when it arrived. It might be a budget price, but the build quality is excellent, and within 20 minutes of arrival, after minimal assembly and checking over, I had my first bike parked on it. Add in the excellent service of KMS and the fast and friendly delivery, I can highly recommend this product to any home based bike mechanic / hobbyist.

FOXHUNTER Hydraulic motor cycle ramp
the ramp was delivered promptly and I think that it is well made. Excellent value for money. however - what stopped me from giving it 5 stars is it needed attention because the main plunger was jammed solid. having disconnected the link i managed to free it up.Two phone calls to the supplier - they were helpful but couldnt solve the next problem... whereby the ramp dropped very quickly using the release valve - fearing for the bike and myself at this stage. I phoned again and asked to speak to the technical dept and was told that I could only email them. This I did outlining the problem - but at the time of writing this review I have not received a reply. To my relief i have resolved the problem myself whereby very careful adjustment to the screw valve is required for a safe descent of the ramp. sadly there was NO mention of this in the instructions supplied with the ramp. Something which I think should be addressed.Look forward now to be able to use the ramp with safety to maintain the bike. Ken Praill

Good for a while
After i year of good service the oil seals start leaking, resulting in oil on floor and no hydraulic action.Replacement body costs £80 and difficult to replace.Best to buy one with longer guarantee

Cheap & probably OK - time will tell
Arrived promptly in a massive wooden crate.Set up was easy enough, however, it all seems a bit unstable. Table section moves about a lot when its being raised so you need to keep one hand on the bike to stop it moving around. Once raised to working height & locked in place with the securing pin it seems a bit safer for routine work, however I wouldn't trust putting too much leverage on the bike (e.g .torquing up rear wheel) as it al moves about too much.Pressing the lowering lever either brings the bike down so slowly it takes about 5 minutes or alternatively & without warning drops the bike to the floor in a nano second. It is probably worth the money if you are very careful with it and are aware of its shortcomings but you are buying a cheap alternative to the more pricey products out there & I think in this case you get what you pay for.

Lift Great Make sure you have some help on delivery.
Great Lift and good price. Note it is very heavy and the delivery company one sent one driver and it was loaded length ways. Make sure there are some strong people available to help lift it off the lorry. The driver wanted me to refuse delivery but how else was I going to get the lift. In the end I had to push it up the lorry and help lift it off the lorry. He then left it on my drive and said he had other deliveries to do. So make sure there is some help around on delivery. Product is great through.

Good hydraulic bench for my Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer
I have always wanted a hydraulic bench, I selected this the largest KMS ramp because I have 2 large bikes. The KMS bench was very well packaged and arrives mostly assembled. Without a bike I can wheel it around the garage floor. This ramp is long enough and wide enough for either my Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 or my Victory Cruiser (300kgs). I can push or ride my bikes on to the ramp. I have made a wooden step which I place to the left of the ramp to stand on while I put my Triumph on it's centre stand as the bed of the ramp is a little too narrow. For infrequent amateur use this KMS ramp is perfect. I have not fitted the front wheel steady because it will not hold a big bike. The ramp does take up valuable garage floor space so I park one of my bikes on it all the time which works well. Should have bought one years ago.
