These premium quality OxGord Metal Pet Crates are crafted using commercial-quality materials and superior manufacturing. They are built for long-lasting durability and security using an all-steel, high tensile-strength wire that is securely formed and welded into a tight mesh pattern. The crates feature multiple doors that lock easily with a slide-bolt latch. Finished with a durable black Electro-coat finish, these crates are rust, corrosion, and fade resistant even in extreme climates. To set-up, simply unbox and fold open; no tools are required. Each crate features a lightweight, slide-out tray made of durable ABS plastic. The tray features a lip around the perimeter and is held in place with a retaining bar making it easy to remove and clean without needing to open the crate door. With the rounded edges of the crates, your pet is contained in a safe environment where they cannot injure themselves on any sharp metal pieces. Also included is a free divider panel that allows you to adjust the size of the living area for your pet while it grows. When not being used, the crates collapse into a package less than 4 inches tall, which is perfect for easy storage or carrying with the included removable top-mounted handle. For maximum comfort, the crate should be sized 4 to 6 inches longer than your pet's body length and 4 to 6 inches taller than its shoulder height. With a crate as rugged and versatile as this, you can take care of housebreaking and behavioral problems for many years to come. The OxGord Metal Pet Crates work so well, my wife even wishes they had one in "husband" size.

Poor quality, dangerous item
Bought as a 'holiday' crate for our Lhasa Apso to use when staying at the in-laws', instead of having to carry her usual crate back and forth every time. She has an AmazonBasics Double-Door Folding Metal Dog Crate - Medium at home which is out of stock at the moment (for some reason says its not been released yet?) otherwise I would have bought another one of those as they are excellent value for money and very sturdy. However, based on the reviews and time constraints I chose this crate instead. She was fine in it for the first 5 nights, but something must of upset her on the final night as my boyfriend's mum came down in the morning to find her out of the crate, looking very pleased with herself. Somehow (and I don't know how as I tried to push individual bars in), she had managed to snap two bars off of their joins, pull them inwards and squeeze through a tiny 6" gap. It's a miracle that she didn't impale herself on the bars or damage an eye.The crate is going straight back as it's clearly not fit for purpose if it can't hold up against a fairly small and usually quite docile dog. I do not recommend this item and will be buying another Amazon crate to replace it.

There are crates and there are dog prisons
This is my fourth crate purchase, my first 3 from other suppliers have all been good, so why didn't I stick with what I've had before? (Rhetorical question). I bought this to use when I boarded my dogs for 3 weeks and when I collected them 2 days' ago the dog minder said she'd had problems getting the doors open. Yes, I should have tested it first but was getting ready for a 1,200 mile drive to the Alps and Italy and everything needed doing. When I got it home and used it night before last I couldn't get my dog out in the morning. I thought it must be warped and needed straightening out but realised that the slide bolts were far too long and couldn't be retracted enough. It took me and my husband a while to free my dog. So I went online today to see about returning it and apparently, according to Amazon, I'm too late by a few days. However, as the good are faulty I guess I have a statutory rights to return it....we'll see. By the way I've had no problems with 2 Elli Bow crates and I can't remember the make of the other one.

Badly Made
There's no instructions for setting up which is fine as it's quite self explanatory in pulling up the sides. However quite a few of the bars have not been cut to size (or smoothed down so it's sharp in some places but that's a whole different issue) so it was jammed in several places when trying to open it up, the door lock is also far too long and requires a lot of force to bend the bars and get it to open, otherwise it makes a lot of rattling noise of which I don't think my puppy would appreciate at all. The other door doesn't open at all and seems to be jammed.Haven't collapsed it yet as I'm unsure how to return it to a drop off point as I don't drive.Would definitely not recommend this as it's a waste of money

Very Large Crate
We have had this crate for about 10 months now.It is very sturdy and easy to clean with the removable tray.It easy fits our now fully grown Male Doberman. He can lay down fully on his side with his legs out stretched. The bedding that we have put inside unfortunately hasn't faired so well and has been regularly replaced every couple of months so the crate has protected the rest of our house from being damaged and from our furry friend from getting hurt on things he should be having.Highly recommended good product.

Great crate used for cat to recover
I got this to keep my cat in after he had an accident and had to have cage rest for 4 weeks. Whilst I found it hard to put up myself as it was quite heavy and you have to upclip all the sides which are very tight to unclip. Apart from that it is very sturdy and plenty of room for the cat, who is quite large, a litter tray and food bowls and a bed and enough room for him hopefully not to go mad but restrict his movements as instructed. Was delivery quickly as on Prime. Very pleased. Box said crate training manual included and it wasn't but didn't want it anyway.

The puppy liked the crate as I put his toys one end ...
The puppy liked the crate as I put his toys one end and he slept at the other. He didn't like being locked into it very much though. It was easy to make into a crate from the folding position and easy to refold back into the folding position for storage. The two doors were very good on in the middle and one at the other end if you wanted to use the partition which it came with, I didn't use the partition wire bit as put toys up one end to make it smaller for the puppy to feel comfy in. Over all was happy with the purchase.

Sturdy and secure. Two doors is great for car boot.
Construction was pretty straightforward but care needs taking to ensure all the sides are the right way up, and the right way around. Follow the instructions, and take your time to get it right first time, and it will take less than 15 minutes. Both the doors work well. This is a largish crate, certainly big enough for an adult miniature Schnauzer. The crate has a solid metal base - on to which you can put a pet blanket so your dog will feel at home. The carry handle is comfortable, well designed, and feels very secure. This is a good quality item. Quite impressed.

Does what I wanted it to do.
Bought this as a gift for a friend who was taking her jack Russel to her in laws. Wee dog not allowed in house so we (my friend and i) decided that a crate would be good. Happy days. The little dog can go anywhere in the house in his cage. He loves it. No more sitting outside shivering in the cold. Bhaa humbug. Ok. Would not recommend this for an escape artist but for a calm little dog it is perfect. For my personal reasons I am awarding a 5 star cause it does the job that I intended it to do.
