As I've got OLDER, I couldn't trust my muscles with my heavy-ish chainsaw so I gave it away. Then my trusty, super-sharp bowsaw became too much of a faff, especially when the weather was warm. This mini-chainsaw is the answer for me: lightweight, relatively quiet, and easy to use (left-handed users must have a knack for accessing the safety button). I've used it a lot since the summer. It comes with a spare battery and replacement chain, and all packed in a neat, rigid case. (Once in use, you may get some oil-leakage when the saw is packed away.) You will need to have chainsaw oil available or bought separately. A good buy!

I am very impressed with this chainsaw. Portable and very efficient tool. Feels sturdy, safe and comfortable to use. Cuts through branches like butter and battery life so far has been great. Used for a full day in an overgrown garden on a single battery and still had half a charge left. I was skeptical before buying, but it really is a great saw.

Fast delivery and well presented in it's own case.Be aware you must order the chainsaw oil when buying as it will not work without it.I didn't , so wasted a couple of days before I could use it.I needed something better than loppers to cut through shrubs in the garden, and having arthritis in the hands this does the job very wellIt's not heavy, so suitable for ladies to use and can cut through 5 inch branches easily.I recommend wearing safety glasses as small chips of wood fly upwards towards the face.Having two batteries is great as there's always a back up if required, and the spare chain is very handy as well.The only thing it lacks is a protective sheath for the blade..I have since ordered this so feel comfortable knowing its protected when not being used.If this had been included, I would have given it 5 stars.This item is one of my best buys for working in the garden.

This chainsaw is brilliant the ease of use is unbelievable due to the small size it is light weight and easy to move (perfect size) and cuts through branches and tree trunks with ease. Can’t fault this product the charger is brilliant it just -lugs into the batteries. Works easily and better than expected for its size!! Definitely recommend anyone to purchase this if want a chainsaw that’s not to heavy and will work perfectly! Came with everything that it said would be with it and a really good price!!

Chainsaw arrived in less than 24hrs i filled it with oil and set about cutting some pallets up for my log burner, this little saw just demolished a pallet in about 1min it blitzed a wet log in simlar time, i could tell when i opened the box and held the saw that is was very well built, not sure about the battery life yet but i chopped up 6pallets and was still going srtrong definitely worth the money💪

I am familiar with motor chainsaws for cutting down real trees, but I had a few small trees needing pruning, and one against a wall so really difficult to do with a hand saw. This little thing made the job a doddle. It went through my fig like the proverbial hot knife through warm butter. Then I reduced a laburnum, and chopped it up into little easy to handle bits, with no sign of battery usage. I dont know how much tree you have to cut down to use up two batteries, but I am doing a large cherry tree next.This is great for doing light (1" - 3") one handed pruning from a ladder where you would not want to take a real heavy two handed chainsaw. This is like a cheeky little replacement for a bow saw or pruning knife. I only got the 6 inch one and think I might have been better with the 8, but realistically, if branches are getting that big, the job probably needs treating mere seriously.It is probably worth just taking off and re-fitting the chain cover, and tensioning the blade before using (fiddly job). I didnt, and nearly lost the tensioning screw straight away, as it unscrewed with the vibration. Also get some chainsaw oil (sticky oil) and fill the little reservoir, and pump oil onto the chain with the rubber bulb before using, and keep topping up the reservoir.Keep it well oiled to minimise chain wear, and keep the chain away from soil.How much work it will do before something goes wrong, who knows,but I think the biggest risk with this is that it is so easy to use that you might not have much garden left when you finally stop tying it out. Treated carefully I reckon it should earn its keep.

The batteries run out after about 15-20 minutes of continual use & take about 3 hours to recharge.You can only use it for a maximum of 40 minutes using both batteries then have to stop.Rubbish !The chain keeps coming loose & I am frightened about tightening it too much as the cutting bar nut is plastic.

Love the feel and weight. Had some trees blown down in the last storm and used this to cut them up. Great little tool. Cuts with ease and went through 9 inch trees easily. Would recommend. Brilliant purchase. 10/10
