Very good at protecting from scratches and fingerprints.

Right, here we go then. Watch the video in the link given on the package before attemping to fit. I dreaded it!I cleaned the screen with the coth provided, (not taken makers film off before that) so no grease on screen. Found that the cloth could leave a few white spots on the screen too, so 'blew' those off!Got a wide but shallow Pyrex lid, put lukewarm tapwater in it and a little liquid hand soap, mixing with fingers to get them wet as advised.Attempted to peel the thin screen protector from the more rigid backing for about 10 minute without success. So I invited wife to dip her fingers in the liquid and atempt it with her unchewed finger-nails. She said that I must have misunderstood cos there's nothing to peel!Another five minutes and she said that she had lifted a corner but couldn't hold onto it to pull them apart. She said that as it was mine, could I help (bit cheeky). So, with four hands, we peeled off the realy thin screen protector. I wet the protector and ran it through my fingers (like a chippy man getting thicker batter off of a fish) - no? Not lived. Now I thought, for the hard part, - getting it in the correct place on the screen! I did what I thought was my best, wrapped the cleaning cloth around the provided card and removed all the water spots that I could see - very, very gently. It slipped nicely to help position it by the way. Then I could only wait and hope. After half an hour or so, I had a couple of tries at sticking the edges, as per the instructions. Lo and behold when ready, it fitted perfectly in place! Had to wait 36 hours or so for the water 'bubbles' to dry - but they did.Unfortunately, I found two very tiny white bits under the screen, but barely noticeable luckily. One person suggested avoiding dust by doing the fitting in a bathroom with the shower running hot to keep down the dust. A brilliant idea I thought, but not for spectacle wearers I reckon. The screen had quite a few 'dings' in it on the outside when fitted, like marks made with something that had cut into the film. Puzzling. Manufacturer maybe? I don't know.Switched the mobile on after 9 hours, and for the first ever time it got stuck at the boot screen, Notthing I could do would boot it or switch ir off.Luckily, looked on my wifes ipad and found how to force a restart. It stuck again. Forced another reboot and after a bit of uncertainty, it booted, hooray.Anyway, it will help protect your screen from minor scratches and is quite good at avoiding fingerprints, it feels slightly 'rubbery' (which isn't bad), and it reduces screen sensitivity quite al bit. But it will not help at all if you knock or drop the phone. For that you need a pre-formed glass screen - and by all accounts, they don't fit properly! So this type is the only choice. My advice is for Samsung to get their act together and factory fit a glass screen protector. Come on Samsung, you charge enough! While waiting for that, I would advise fitting this screen, so far it's not lifted and it's does save from scratches too. I actually like it.

Great product after I finally worked out how to apply it!

I first tried a standard plastic protector then a tempered glass protector - to my disappointment both lasted less than one week, the plastic one got dislodged and the glass one developed a small crack which quickly spread across the screen.I first came across this ScreenKnight product after watching Youtube clips by the SwedishGuy who seemed to be on a quest to find the ideal protector for the S7 Edge and he finally proclaimed this as the only one that he was happy with (he's since moved on to the S8 phone!). So I had high expectations when I ordered this. It arrived promptly but I nearly returned it as I had problems applying it correctly. Both the SwedishGuy and the official ScreenKnight video clips showed that a top plastic film should be removed from the protector before application. However it didn't look like there was a film that could be removed. I thought perhaps mine was missing so tried a few times to do a wet application on my phone anyway. Of course it didn't stick and I nearly gave up with frustration. In the end, I asked my husband to check it for me and he finally managed to detect there was a removable film after which I was able to apply it successfully. It went on easily but when it dried, there were loads of new bubbles. But I had read from the the reviews that they should disappear by themselves and lo and behold, this happened magically within 2 days! I was quite amazed, so effortless. I've used this for 2 months now and was able to use it combined with a thin clear plastic case and a flip top case without any issue. The only negative as noted by others is that it does make the screen feel a bit plasticky to the touch but this is a minor drawback when balanced against the key benefit of protecting the screen from scratches and minor bumps. But I'm not sure how it would hold up after a drop against a hard surface, hopefully I won't need to find out!

Easy for, durable product

Generally, this is a good product. The instructions were clear and easy to follow with the fitting process being very easy and quick. With the curved edges of the S7 Edge, it is difficult to keep the protector from curling up. The bottom edge especially is coming unstuck as a result of being put into a pocket. i have a rubberized case which does prevent further curling. The protector is prone to marking if you tap with your nail as it would make an indentation. Overall, the screen protector is very good. I think it would be more successful on an S7 as there are no curved edges. I would recommend this product.

Easy, effective and fits the S7 Edge with ease.

Apply using soapy water.....that's a first time I have come across this so thought...why not. This is a simple and easy protector to apply. Clean the phone as recommended and apply the soapy water to the protector. Apply to the phone and position as needed. With the water, this was easy to do. Applying to the sides took a couple of attempts before the stickiness worked. Squeezed the water out and wait to dry. Removed protective film from protector and you are left with a cover that is hard to see is actually on the phone. No bubbles or marks and clear as the screen. Does have a slight rubbery feel to the swiping but brilliant and easy to use. Would recommend this protector...and bought one for the gearfit2 as it was easy to apply.

Looks nice, bit fiddle

Bit fiddle to do on the samsung s7 edge .i got it on but everytime i went to do the egde it slid around. Had no problems getting bubbles out. Put an old phone cover that had a front cover to turn corners over left it half an hr and transferred it to my new back cover looks great. I hope that it does the rest of what they advertise only time will tell.
