We're as tired as you are of cheap multi-tools with bits that round off instantly if you aren't paying a surgeon's attention to what you're doing. We're betting that you hardly ever reach for your micro-multi-tool when you're wrenching at home. Why would you? Full-size tools are tougher, give you better leverage, and just feel better than minis. The designers at Lezyne aren't buying into that thinking. In the V-10 Multi-Tool, they've designed a lightweight, durable, ergonomically-designed multi-tool that can stand up to the shop-quality tools that are hanging proudly in your garage. Lezyne uses nickel-plated chrome vanadium bits to make sure you have the toughest tool possible. The CNC-machined bits are unbelievably precise, so you don't have to fight to keep them from rounding your hardware. They'll never rust, either, even if you forget them in your pack over the winter. In order to keep weight down, Lezyne uses CNC-machined 7075 aluminum side plates and a forged and CNC'd chain breaker. The most important difference between the V-10 and most other multi-tools is Lezyne's clever center-pivot bit design. This design allows Lezyne to make low profile tools that are lighter, stiffer, stronger, and more ergonomic than the more common wraparound design. Look closely at the joint area of each bit. The center-pivot design keeps the axis of the bit in line with the plane of the tool to make it feel more like a full-size tool. The natural-feeling pivot point is more comfortable and it gives you more torque. The Lezyne V-10 Multi-Tool includes all the tools that you'll need for common road- and trail-side adjustments and light repairs. 90% of the time you're making adjustments with Allen wrenches, and Lezyne includes all the common sizes: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm. The Phillips screwdriver comes in handy more often than you'd think (just take a few rides without one), and we all know how annoying it can be to be caught miles from home with a broken chain and no chain tool.

Gorgeous, light, tool of extremely high quality. Chain breaker is at it's limit on shimano 10 speed chain, but works.
As others have mentioned, this is a beautiful tool. The materials and finish are top shelf all the way. My only technical issue is the chain breaker: I tested it on shimano 10 speed chain, comparing it with a Shimano TL-CN28 chain breaker (a shop tool, made for regular use). The first thing I noticed is the Lezyne breaker doesn't solidly hold the position of the chain under the punch, and the punch itself isn't shaped to center into the dimple on the chain pin, so you really need to watch your setup 'lest you wreck the chain or breaker by driving the punch into the chain rather than into the pin. The chain tended to slide out of position as I applied force, I think maybe because the aluminum saddle isn't perfectly perpendicular to the punch so as the punch drives, the chain wants to squeeze out from under it. But with a couple minutes of fiddling I managed to get it to stay put. Next thing I found is you have to twist HARD on the tool to get these chains apart (modern shimano chains are made out of way harder metal than chains of old, and the pin more snaps out than oozes out): I had to reposition my grip several times to do it, and was starting to look for something to wedge the "wing" on the breaker into so I could get more torque. But I managed to get a good purchase (taking everything I've got in my finger strength) and pop! the chain parted, both chain and breaker undamaged. So, yes, I trust it for a few field repairs but that's about it.Contrast this with using the Shimano breaker: no fiddling required and takes a few seconds. Not that I'm saying they are competing tools: One is for your bike bag, the other is for your sag wagon tool box. All I'm saying is it CAN be quick and painless.

Nice little tool. Maybe too little.
I bought this as a replacement for my Crankbrothers M19, which after three years of hard service started rounding out. The Lezyne is definitely lighter. It weighs 105 g (with the sheath), compared to 175 for the Crank Brothers M19.One problem I've had is that it's so small that I don't get enough leverage to remove pedals using the 8mm hex. Not that the task is exactly pleasant using a multitool anyway. Sometimes you just need to swap pedals in the field? The other thing is, no bottle opener. If you want a bottle opener, you need a Lezyne Rap 20 Multi Tool.

Lightweight and Does What It Needs To
This offers all the basic functionality one expects from a roadside/trailside multi-tool. I had been carrying around a much larger Parktool multi-tool and decided that half of that functionality (and weight) is just unnecessary outside of the garage. This seems to offer a better weight/functionality ratio.

Great tool.
Nice tool. I also have the Crank Bro 17 (favorite multi-tool based on function and performance) for my XC mountain bike and it works about the same for much less weight so this one stays with my road bike. I would buy again.

great portable bike tool
Tool has most of the things you'll need for emergency repairs. It's also the lightest multitool with a chain tool that I could find. Everything seems durable and high quality. I think lezyne really got it right on this design.

Bought it to carry in my saddle bag.
It's a very basic and light weight bicycle multi tool with a chain breaker. It's a bit expensive, but beautifully made. It comes with a vinyl sleeve that's a little frustrating to put on, but holds the swing-out tools in place and protects any sharp edges from abrading the spare tube I store next to it in my saddle bag.

good small set...
this little set fits nicely in the small seat bags and is well made... like all the multi-tools getting the right gadget out and keeping the other tools away from the work area can be frustrating at times, but when you torque an allen screw with this tool it gets plenty tight and the frame is very rigid...

Good, but needs a screwdriver
Very solid, very light, and very expensive, considering that other tools can be had at half the price or less. Stupidly, it lacks a regular flat-blade screwdriver. That costs it a star.

Quality and light weight. Chain breaker included. The perfect saddle bag tool.
This is a beautifully made tool, which seems typical of the Lezyne brand. There are cheaper multi tools out there but you get what you pay for. It doesn't just have the quality either, but has the incredibly low weight to go with it. The tool pieces aren't just bent round at the end like most multitools, they are properly drilled and fixed, keeping the tool stronger, tidier, smaller and thus lighter. All the tools work nicely, including the chain breaker and whilst there are some instances where you could do with something being a little longer for a bit of extra torque, these are normally tools which sit in your saddle bag for emergencies and not workshop tools that you use every day and in that respect you want something light but reliable and this fits that bill perfectly. It even has a leatherette cover to stop any edges puncturing spare tubes etc that you are also likely carrying next to it. A neat touch.Whether you're a weight obsessed roadie or just a rider who prefers to spend a little more on a quality product, this fits the bill.

Brilliant tool
Small, light, easy to use and very versatile. Plus it can be easily taken apart for customisation! I recommend this.
