Pricy for a play thing but stunningly brilliant
You just can't go wrong with Pioneer, they've always been solid. The DJ surface is intuitive, packed full of features, extremely well built and feels great to use. It's probably a little excessive for a complete beginner, but if you can stretch your budget then go for it. It is a little bit more costly than other DJ surfaces, but it comes bundled with Serato Pro, if you don't get this included then you'll need to pay a monthly fee to upgrade from the Lite version of the software, so take that into consideration when pricing this product up.

I thought I was completely crazy buying electronics this expensive on amazon. I stand corrected. This was the best purchase I have made on Amazon and it was exactly the product as described in perfect condition, and for less than any store I could find in my area. I love this Controller. I'm basically a DJ/producer for over 8 succulents now. This is the best enthusiast Controller you can get before going professional. It will change you and your neighbour's lives. You can learn to scratch, you can operate your Serato DJ. You can't use RekordBox though so be careful if that's what you have; but it comes with Serato so chill out. One thing I love is that everything is in an intuitive place. One thing I wish was better was that the sliders for Tempo are a little short so you have to be very precise. It's okay, you will get used to it, I believe in you. ROCK ON!

This is nice. It's about as close as one can get to actual CDJs and a mixer without buying 2 CDJs and a mixer. The jog wheels aren't quite as smooth as on CDJs but at half the cost of a single CDJ, I can't really complain. It does what it is supposed to do but if you require doing spin backs with pinpoint accuracy in your sets then this might not be the one for you. Otherwise it's great and a major step up from what I was using. All products compared in this review are Pioneer products unless otherwise stated.

Buen controlador, a veces se me traba, no se si sea por el serato, de ahí en fuera funcional, y el paquete interno llego con protecciones rotas, deberían revisar que la mercancía llegue en buenas condiciones, así parece que fuera usado el producto

Oh my goodness, I am in love with this controller! I'm very new to DJing and this is my first controller that I've purchased. A lot of my friends are DJs so I've had a lot of input about different brands. Everyone has their preferances and that makes it hard to decide what to buy. I decided to buy the DDJ-SR2 because I've researched in general Pioneer controllers are reliable and sturdy, I don't necessarily need a 4 channel mixer right now because a lot of my more experienced friends have them and I can just hook up to their controllers, it's small and compact (I'm a small person with small hands), and it has a lot of features that are a step up from beginner controllers, but also not super confusing if you are a beginner. Since having it, I'll have to say it's very beautiful and smooth. I feel very lucky every time I play it. I particularly like the colors of the lights, hotcue/roll/slicer pads, and the metal cue and play/pause buttons because I feel more connected to the best when I can hear/feel it click. There are a few downsides about it that don't necessarily bother me right now and that is the pitch faders are very small and because of that it makes it hard to be exact with the bpm in a timely manner. The jog wheels are definitely weird to scratch on. I'm new to scratching, but it just doesn't feel right, I'm not sure how to explain it, I think the wheels feel tight maybe, but I'm not sure. All in all, this is an awesome controller and I can't wait to use it more professionally and show/share it to all my DJ friends! It also came with Serato Pro, and I purchased a warranty plan and a Pro-X road case separate, which I highly recommend to protect this investment! (I'm also using a 2018 MacBook Air with 8gb ram, and Serato Pro runs extremely smooth)
