Not for serious music listeners
Nothing wrong with the headphones build quality. Came with 3 pairs of different size cups and a little pouch. I'm more used to slightly higher quality (and price) buds like the Soundmagic E10s, and bought these hoping to find a cheaper alternative as I regularly lose or break them. I find the sound quality on these buds markedly inferior to the E10s for music - bass is weak, and volume is lower. I had a pair of JVC HAFX1X phones that were just over half the price of these that delivered a better music listening experience, so these are a disappointment. Next time I'll spend the extra tenner on the Soundmagics!

Good purchase, AKG sound signature rarely disappoints
Good purchase, AKG sound signature rarely disappoints. The build quality is impressive, the cable is stronger than most £100+ earphones. The Ultra small design is great as the earphones in fit and sit well in the pain.Sure go ahead & sleep whilst wearing these, rare to work up with a painful ear. 4 stars, due to the only negative that the cable length was a bit too short.Used for months, very durable.

Do not buy these
I bought these to replace the AKGs that came with my S8+, which look nice but only lasted about four uses. I only really wanted them to use on calls but if I wanted to listen to music at my desk I could. The sound quality is awful, even for calls, the plastic feels cheap and they are also uncomfortable regardless of which buds you use. I would have preferred to return them but you practically have to cut the plastic they come in to get the headphones out, so I can't. I never write reviews, particularly bad ones so that's how disappointing this product is, not much stopping me throwing them in the bin, other than the £25 I forked out on them being in the back of my mind. Don't waste your money.

Good sound quality for the price and found them very comfortable. But they only lasted about 3 months - and that was with me being very careful with them. Had they managed to last a year I would say 5 stars for the price of them.... but 3 months is ridiculous. Bought them because they were recommendation by Wirecutter.Hopefully can find a warranty or where I can get a a replacement off the suppliers/manufactures.

Expected More from These
Two point five stars. This pair of headphones is very good at isolating external sounds but the audio (when compared to headphones which are a quarter of the price and probably isolate eternal sounds less well) is very tinny and lacking bass. I’ll keep them as spare/emergency use headphones only for my commute and won’t be replacing them with a similar brand if/when they fail.

Useless after 1 month
These were good earphones for a month until one morning when I was on the train and the left earbud stopped working. I tried in other devices and making sure it was connected properly. I wasn't doing anything strenuous so cannot understand what would have caused this loss of sound. I will be requesting a refund.

They fit perfectly into my ear and the sound quality is great. Not the most bass I've ever heard but more then what I need. Downside? the cable is rather thin so I'd avoid wrapping them too tight.

Build quality is not bad at all
I've always been a fan of AKG headphones, so when choosing a pair of earphones I turned to these. Build quality is not bad at all, but sound quality is poor - thin with almost no bass and no volume. Better can be found for cheaper elsewhere.

Poor Quality
Very poor quality. Only had these headphones for a couple of months and they now only work from one ear piece.

Disappointing.
Although they look great, the sound produced is sub par. The sound is cheap and very disappointing considering this is AKG. Wouldn't recommend.

Great quality for the price.

Great sound but build quality wasn't their biggest concern.
Great sound, full bass and clear treble. Okay impedance but good sound. 40Hz - 40kHz range might be a bit over ambitious.

Lasted 8 months - is that good?
Lasted 8 months. Have broken today (18 Jan 2018). The connection has failed in the jack plug grommet somewhere. I now only have a left channel.
