I had an easy time installing this product it took less than 2 minutes. The product seems to be a generic brand screen and does not have quite the color quality that the original screen had, but for my uses this is not an issue at all. When I consider the price that I paid for it I would definitely consider purchasing again. The touch screen does function fine though I rarely use this feature.

2nd Update: I ended up purchasing the same screen again to replace the first screen. 2nd screen came in slightly larger than the first. Everything still fit. However, when I installed it, the touchscreen didn't work. Everything else did. I contacted the seller who said it may be the connection was not tight. I reconnected everything and viola, it worked. Let's hope this one lasts more than 2 years.Update: the screen died after just 2 years. It went very dim and we can see, but only if the room lights are off. The only thing I wish came with this is double sided tape to replace the tape that attached the original screen. I had to remove that tape and luckily had some from a strip of led motion lights for under my bed that worked perfectly. Ifixit website led me through the repair.Screen seems to work great.

I ordered TWO screens from this seller, which claims to be a compatible replacement for an LP156WF7(SP)(A1). Both arrived loose packed in a box with just one layer of bubble wrap. Being loose in the box meant it can bang around.The first one had bent tabs. I had to straighten them out. Once installed, the inverter started to overheat. Very hot, even with the bezel on. After a few minutes, this caused the touchscreen to stop working. It had a ton of dead spots.I requested a replacement and it was effortless.The second one arrived also with bent tabs, but the inverter was bent as well. I installed this and it also started getting really hot. It had a huge dead spot for the touchscreen as well.These replacements were for an Inspiron 5559. I ordered from another company and that screen was perfect.Maybe it's not the manufacturer's fault, but I'm not happy with the condition they arrived in.

This is an amazing replacement! The packaging was more than adequate and the screen was pristine the touch screen also worked as well. This is an amazing deal for the money replacement for a screen on a 800 dollar machine.

I bought this screen as a replacement for my Dell Inspiron laptop. It was easy to install and overall it is functional. Touch is not usable with this screen. Only reason I did not return this item was because of the hassle in opening the machine and going out to return it during COVID-19 pandemic.

I followed the YOU TUBE instructions on the removal of my old touch screen and installation of this new touch screen. Blessed them. This screen was 1/8" to 1/4" smaller than my original screen on both sides, so I had to be innovative in using the clay like sticky substance from the Dollar Store to make it fit onto the frame. But for the money, it is a great value. I can accept the deficiency of this screen. The touch feature works well.
