Yes. It works as we wanted it to do for a kitchen flouresent light. Although, we did also fit the additional small flouresent adapter in the light fitting itself. This is not immediately clear as an additional requirement with Amazon until you read the full instructions included within the product itself. It is a simple and effective automatic light control that has an appropriate minimal appearance that replaces a normal 2 way light switch. Note; to overide the automatic operation the time delay needs to reset to zero then back to required number of hours by sliding down the lower panel.

this switch is a great idea, but doesn't work with energy efficient bulbs, which we are being led to use!needs a built in switching relay , then it would be great

The timer works by being sensitive to light and comes on when it gets darker. I have to leave off my hall light which is 8 feet away for the timer to work. I would have preferred to put my outside lights on a timer. When it got dark one afternoon at 1600 hrs because of a storm the timer switched my outside lights on! I have got used to it now as it is adjustable so on balance I think I would recommend it. I could not work out the wiring and had to get an electrician to install it but that is because of lack of diy skills.

good. would be better with a clock timer set to switch of at a clock time.Mine lasted 4 years before the photo cell failed

good product that works really well but a bit expensive as since I purchased this I have found the exact controller £10 cheaper also with free p&p
