Great shirts just runs a little small
I purchased this Merino Tech shirt for workouts and runs. It is my second Merino tech shirt but this one is a size larger than the first I ordered. I usually wear a large t-shirt so that is what I ordered the first time. I still wear it but it is form fitting. This xl fits just like I wanted, maybe a little bit looser. I’ll see if washing it does anything but either way I’m happy. Hope this review helps if you debating size.

Best wool shirt I've found yet.
This is my second shirt from Merino-Tech. I also have shirts from three other companies that aren't sold on here. This is by far and away the best feeling and most durable of them all. It's also the absolute cheapest (by about half!). I find this company makes the best merino shirts and I will likely order several more from them in different colors. I travel alot, and find that the merino clothes are well worth the money.

New shirt
Can’t speak as to longevity of this product, but look and feel is fantastic.

Great but not perfect
These shirts are amazing for the price. They are soft and comfortable, really do wick moisture, and do help regulate my body heat. My only issue is how thin they are. I've had two so far that have holes in them that come out of nowhere and quickly expand, so not sure if I'm just the one person getting defective units or if there is a bigger issue with their quality. I will keep ordering them, though - they are everything I didn't know I was missing in my wardrobe!

decent wool T-shirt as base layer
This may sound gross but I can wear this multiple days and not stink much at all so its great for camping, bugging out, or just if you don't want to do laundry so often. Disclaimer, I wear deodorant every day after showering and work an office job from home so I'm not outside sweating. The shirt was a bit itchy until after a wash but overall I'm happy with the purchase. I did buy 3 different brand wool T-shirts from Amazon the other two from Marino Protect and Naturwool and they are all about the same to me. I think this Marino Protect brand may have been slightly smaller but after a couple of washes and wearing for days I can't really tell between the 3 brands so go with whatever is the best price or whichever has the color/pattern you like best. I'm about 42 inch chest and size large it quite form fitting but not uncomfortable. What you want as an under layer but I'd probably want an XL if it was all I was wearing in the summer unless you are buff and trying to show off with a form fitting shirt. Material is on thinner side but not too thin - maybe a 150 weight (guessing here) wool base layer. Even though its fits snug on me material is still opaque and doesn't become see through.

okay paying half the price for half the quality
Husband and wife both wear a mens XL for comfort and convenience on trips, daily wear, etc. It’s short and tight fitting for a 6’ man, fits wife better in length but still tighter than your average XL tshirts. We’d order a bunch of these if they came in XXL, because they are light and comfortable. The initial itch wears off right away, and we’re both sensitive to clothing.Only other complaint is that the tag is attached right at the shoulder seam, and the tag plastic thingy was attached so that it split one thread. So it caused a run in the fabric. was able to catch it with a needle and thread and sew it back up.You get what you pay for, and we’re okay paying half the price for half the quality of a shirt that will be used way less than half the time. But will not being ordering more.Hope this helps….

Great fit, very comfortable and lightweight
Overall these shirts are amazing. I now own 6 in different colors. They are the only shirts I wear to exercise. Why are they so good?Less odor - they do not stink after working out like cotton does. In fact, I now get home from a workout, rinse the shirt in the shower, let it dry, and wear it a couple more times like that before I wash it.Lightweight - wicks sweat and doesn't get heavy. I sweat enough to soak a shirt through when I work out. These make that much more manageable.Stretch - the thin fabric moves with you easily, and doesn't restrict movement.Nice fit - athletic fit looks goodA couple of things to look out for that I have found:1 - shirts stretch slightly over time, so mine are now slightly larger than they were when purchased. If you first try it on and think it's a bit to large, you might want to size down.2 - instructions in the box say you should wash on gentle cycle and lay on a flat surface to dry (no dryer). This is kind of a pain and if you wear them a lot you need a system to do it. I put the first batch I bought in the dryer a few times before I bought more and saw the instructions. They seem fine but I guess it makes them wear out faster?

Slender/athletic fit, very soft, good price
Comparing this to icebreaker t-tech t-shirts, this is less expensive, softer, and a slimmer fit. I really like the softness, but am somewhat concerned about the longevity (hence the 4 vs. 5 stars). That said, I’ll give this a go for a few months and see how well it performs. My IceBreaker tees generally last 5-7 years before wearing out, but they have a thicker (and less soft) feel to them.Regarding the fit: This is similar to icebreaker’s “anatomica” style shirts, which are very form fitting. E.G., I can wear a regular medium t-shirt in most brands, but with the Merino.tech shirt - a medium is very form fitting (somewhere between an Under Armour compression and fitted shirt). For this reason, you may want to “try before you buy” or go up one size when you order.

Great merino wool for a great price
I just went to Manning Park for a hike wearing this merino t-shirt. The Merino-Tech shirt was durable on this 6 hour day hike. I also did several 10 km runs with this shirt. Wool shirts have a great quality where they keep you warm when wet but cool with a breeze. I only wear merino for exercise and for outdoor adventures. I own many Icebreakers and MEC merino wool. This is just as good with after a few washings to get out the itch. Also, the 165 g/m weight of the merino is perfect for me for exercise. It is not too thin to feel like it may tear and not too warm. The fit is athletic - not baggy but not skin tight like Underarmor. When first washed, it was slightly itchy but the itch has gone away with the second wash.I will buy again then the price is right.

Very Comfortable & Fits Well (but a size smaller)
I found this shirt very comfortable and it fits well, although I did have to go up a size from a medium to a large. I bought the Blue Sky colour and I think it looks great! My one complaint, and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is the collar on the neck opening wrinkles after the shirt is washed.

Very nice
I’m 5’8” 150lbs. Size small fits perfect. I absolutely love the azure blue colour! Very nice 100% wool shirt that is cool, breathes well and dries fast. I won’t go back to plastic artificial sport shirts ever.

Perfect
I purchased this for my husband and he really likes it. It's lightweight lovely soft feel to it . I waited to wash it first before I reviewed it being wool wasn't sure how it would be after washing it. I must say I'm impressed. It kept its shape and its softness excellent shirt well worth the money
