I'm enjoying this sewing machine and the ease of use. I have always had Singer machines but actually prefer this brand to the Singer now that I've used it. So many nice stitch options that are easy to dial in... there was a learning curve for me, but it took no time to figure things out with the booklet that was included. It's lightweight which is a good feature based on where I store it, and while the case design doesn't impact use, it's attractive with the flowers! Attachments are sufficient for the sewing that I do. It's a good, basic machine.

I'm an experienced seamstress and have many commercial machines but was looking for a machine to do buttonholes and came across this Brother Sewing Machine. Came packaged nicely. Machine seems sturdy and solid. Set up was super easy. Comes with many different stitch types. Super great machine for beginners and more. Stitches are great and runs fairly fast and smooth. Comes with extensive manual that is very easy to understand. Only con is the storage on the machine. It is made in such a way that when you take it out everything falls out and the same with putting it back in. Definitely worth the price and more. Great Machine. Definitely recommend.

Great beginner machine. I wish I was so lucky to start learning to sewing with a machine like this. Instructor and this machine offers a lot of beginner friendly features. Very well worth the price. Lightweight and easy to carry around. It's strong enough to pound through a jeans hem. Great machine for that one Halloween costume a year project.

I purchased this so that I would have a machine while mine is in the shop. It is a perfectly adequate substitute, and would be very good for beginners. Some of the instructions are difficult to follow and setting your preferences are a little challenging, but it can be done with trial and error. It's lightweight and the purple floral pattern on the front is pretty

I LOVE this little machine! It does everything and has every kind of stitch one would want to use.

It feels like every year and a half or so these machines seem go out. This brand in particular keeps eating fabric and this is my second replacement in 3 years different model.

I’ve had several brother sewing machines in the past, great machines, lots of functions, easy to use, and long lasting machines

Really good for beginners. I'd learned sewing basics when I was younger and decided to pick it up again for alteration and small projects. It was super easy to figure out and use. It doesn't do great on thicker fabric but overall does well.
