Read the reviews and followed one advice that says soak the air stone first until its fully wet. Then waited for a while before connecting it to the aquarium air pump. It worked really well and the bubble curtain looks really nice on a 20gal aquarium. Good buy!

I wanted to leave a review on this air bubble strip since there were not many of them and most were negative. I had a strip light/bubbler that the air hose attachment broke off, so just had the functioning lights. I wanted to find another air bubbler strip, as I like the wall of bubbles on the back of my 29-gallon aquarium. None of the air bubbler strips got good reviews and this one was really inexpensive, so I thought I'd just give it a try. When I plugged it in, it took awhile for the air to be pushed through the full length of the strip, but after about 5 minutes the entire strip was producing bubbles! The only con is that there is nothing to hold it down. I was able to hold it down by putting my light strip (that has suction cups on it) slightly over the top of this bubble strip. I've had it in my aquarium for almost 2 weeks now and is still working great! I recommend this!
