We bought this as a device to allow us to record us reading to our hopefully soon to be adopted children. We have been able to record us reading books that the children's foster carer can then use to read to the children and help them grow to use our voices.The device is simple and the spoken instruction guide you on what to do. As others have picked up blank pages can be a bit tricky but a sticker on the page does help resolve this issue.All in all a great little piece of kit that is well thought through and well constructed. The only real issue you is it is quite heavy when used with paperback books and will require the assistance of a small table.

Was hoping for more from this but it has a few flaws. If a book has a blank back page but writing on the left page, it does not recognize it and will often miss out that final page. I guess a sticker or something might work but haven't given it a try yet.There is no way to lock the buttons so it is really easy for a child to 'accidentally' delete pages!When it does work it is great anf my daughter loves it.

It is fun to record it, easy for my 2.5y old son to use it, he enjoys listening to the recordings. Worth to buy. However, I wouldn't pay the whole price. I bought it in discount for less than £10.

We ordered this for Christmas for our 4 year old son. So far, I have recorded 3 books into it successfully and a fourth which unfortunately had 2 very similar pictures and therefore thought it was recording the same page over again so deleted the previous page. I will now need to make the page different with a sticker of some sort which I now realise was mentioned in the instruction book and I have either misread it or didn't understand at the time. The instructions don't seem overly clear and when you're recording you can sometimes hear the (loud) click of the button unless you operate with the stealth of a ninja! I would buy it again but I do think there are some improvements to be made

Product didn't work when I wanted to record a book and just kept repeating it's self. Tried to return product but stating I can't return a faulty item!

It came ahead of time. And we immediately started to record our voices on it reading our grandsons favorite books.. As we add more we find that we lose previously recorded books which just vanish into the ether! This is not as straightforward as advertised and were left disappointed with the product.

Love this item. Bought to record my sons favourite book, that only I can read seemingly, for my Xmas night out. Now I'm not allowed to read books I have to record them for my 2yo to read himself.It was fiddly at first but by my 2 no book it was natural.

We ordered this book so that all our family members can record themselves reading a book to our smallest member of our family who is 18 months old and loves books.It's very easy to use and although a bit pricey it holds up to 50 books so in our view was worth it.
