Fabulous product
After buying endless lip balm products this one stands out. It glides on smoothly and feels light. The taste is subtle and natural. It doesn’t leave a sticky chemical tasting residue on your lips. Love the fact it’s all plastic free too.

Not great.
This comes in a cardboard tube, which I’m sure is great for the environment, but it’s not exactly easy to use. It bends quite easily meaning that it is harder to twist to raise the lip balm before use. I have taken to scraping the balm with my nail and rubbing on my lips - not ideal. Would not buy again.

Lip Butta
I really love all the ideas behind this natural lip butta and appreciate the sentiments but I'll be honest, I'm not overly convinced the cardboard casing will last as long as the butta does but I'm hoping that's not the case. Though it smelt great, it's scent didn't last long but it certainly moisturised and really helps my little one who is constantly licking his lips and getting dry/sore. It's a fab product and feels great but at £11 at time of reviewing is a tad expensive, thus the loss of a star.

Funny smell/flavour
I’m a bit on the fence with this lip balm. My partner didn’t like it at all. I didn’t mind it, but wasn’t wowed by it either and prefer some others I have.I like the eco credentials of the product and, if I loved it, I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more because of it (though current price of £11 is steep)Although I love that it’s plastic-free, I actually found the cardboard tube a little tricky to use and am not sure how robust it will be over time. The stick itself is also quite large/wide, which was a bit cumbersome to use (it went over my lip line!)My partner didn’t really like how it felt on and didn’t think it felt very moisturising. I didn’t mind it but thought it smelled funny. For me, the smell and taste was off-putting.I was really keen to try this and thought I’d really love it, but I found it disappointing and, despite the natural ingredients and eco credentials, not worth the high price tag. Three stars as, for me, it was only really ok and I wouldn’t order again.

Expected better
Not cheap. No flavour and very hard. Expected much better for the price. Like cardboard tube or would be one star

This lip item is not for everybody but, for me, it is the perfect one and here's why.
Ever since I landed on these British shores in 1998, I have missed a certain Swedish lip balm that was initially made for military use. I must have tried fifty-odd different variations of lip balms currently on the market and in various price ranges but they're all either too wet and won't stay on your lips for longer than five minutes or contain harsh ingredients (by the way: you're not supposed to let your lips touch anything with mint in it as it'll dry them out). I have never found one like it. Until now, that is.This is nothing short of PERFECT. It's solid in consistency and will not leave a shine on your lips (it's not a lip gloss, after all) but it will nourish your lips to wonderful softness and it's just the perfect lip balm.I love that it's in paper packaging and the scent is nice and subtle. I'd still use it if it was unflavoured as I love it that much. The last thing I do before I go to sleep is apply lip balm and this stuff lasts all night and, when I wake up, my lips are soft and supple.I LOVE THIS LIP BALM.

Far too hard for my tender lips
I use a lot of lip balm so I was really excited to try this lemon, sunflower and coconut ‘Lip Butta’ from Raw Nature. There’s no plastic at all in this pack - the lip balm is in a cardboard tube and you just need to push up from the bottom to reveal the lip balm stick. It has a very subtle lemon scent that reminds me of lemon meringue pie but this quickly disappears when it’s on the lips. From the ‘Butta’ in the name I was expecting something soft and easy to apply, but this butter is very hard and actually feels like the stick is being dragged across my lips. I’ve tried breathing on it to soften it before application but it still feels harsh.Once it’s on, it does give my lips some moisture for a while but it’s just far too hard a balm for my lips.
