Talisman Oracle: Work with mystical sigils and powerful symbols in 44 black-edged cards and 112-page guidebook for divination, affirmation and insight

There's cards are very different to your regular oracle cards. Incredibly detailed images, love the sigil and it comes with tracing paper to help you create your own sigil. Very indepth translations and interpretation of the cards, nice smooth finish, shuffle easily.

I had been eyeing these cards for a while. They floated around in my cart for a few months and I finally decided I couldn't resist the beautiful art presented in the examples. When i received them, they came in a beautiful matte box that has a magnetic cover and the cards were inside with a guidebook and a black envelope of blank cards for you to create your own sigils. I haven't used the blank cards yet, but I have used the cards for a few readings for myself and for a friend. The first readings I gave myself gave me some profound answers that blew me away. The art on each card is intricate and lovely being in a silvery color against a pure black background. I really love this style of card and that's one of the big reasons why I went for this particular deck. This is more of a fortune telling deck, so it will give you answers that are more to the point rather than like those from a regular oracle deck, which seem to be more hit or miss on their messages. The little reference book is quite nice with a short but concise meaning for each card, a black and white rendering of the card with the sigil hidden in the card presented next to the art and, finally, a section called "Talisman Power" which tells you how to use each card (or how you shouldn't) with some more information on the animal or the design from the main card for your reading purposes (like "use this card to create more prophetic dreams" etc).My only gripe about this deck is what I'll say about any similar deck: I do not like when the cards are glossy. I don't know why people go with this option because it makes the deck so much harder to shuffle. Matte cards are easier to shuffle because they don't stick to each other. Also, the cards are quite stiff, which might be a bonus for you, but for me, I have smaller hands so it's harder to shuffle the cards because they are not huge cards but not small either. They are also hard to take pictures of (which I have to do when giving readings to friends) and so there is a huge glare. I'd say these are personal preferences, though.All in all, I do recommend the deck to anyone who wants one for fortune telling like readings and who also really enjoys intricate and beautiful art and sigils.

Such a beautiful deck with great quality. The imagery is breathtaking and the messages conveyed are just as inspiring as they are insightful. Definitely recommend!

MY PERSONAL OPINION: After it arrived and I took it out of the box for inspection, my impression was yeah yeah yeah… whatever! Nothing jumped right at me!!! About two months after that, I grabbed it from the shelf without having specific thoughts what I’d do with it. THIS TIME, I caught myself staring at each card instead of just looking!!! I WAS DRAWN TO THE IMAGERY IN EACH CARD AND STARTED TO GRADUALLY FEEL SOMETHING FROM IT. It was almost like I was gazing into each card to see farther and deeper. It seems to me that each card has some depth to it. It was one of the weirdest and most bizarre feelings I’ve felt just from going through a deck of cards. Each image was done quite artfully. The photos I submitted wouldn’t do this deck justice. To me, this deck has ANCESTRAL and HAUNTED vibes to it. It also reminds me of ARCHETYPAL type of decks. I haven’t read the guidebook yet but have been using this deck intuitively to incorporate into playing card and tarot card readings so far. This oracle deck is suitable for relationship readings, financial readings, work/career readings, etc. It works beautifully for me. And I really hope it will do the same for you.

Interesting cards. Includes tracing papers to create your own talisman- and to add or subtract from what is provided. Astrology and alchemy have their place within these cards as well. I will use them as “collaborators” with other decks in my readings.

I love everything about this deck. As a newbie, I was first impressed with the artwork and the feel of the deck. Slick and sexy almost. Easy to handle and shuffle. But once I started getting into using them and doing self-readings I was literally floored! The messages resonated so much for me and I was brought to tears at one point. I’m more comfortable with them now and pull a daily card for guidance and they are not only still speaking to me but they are speaking in unison with my tarot deck.

I love everything about this deck… it’s sleek, stylish and the illustrations are superb. Joy oozes with sophistication. The cardstock is plasticised giving the deck a contemporary feel. Some oracle cards are aimed at youngsters. This one isn’t. It’s complex and mature. In the box (which opens like a book) you have the wrapped cards, the generous handbook and a black envelope of quality tracing paper on which to create your own Sigils. Great idea! This deck will delight you and would make a lovely gift!

Jag använder inte denna så ofta längre, därav betyget 4 och inte 5, jag vet inte varför jag tröttnat, men det kan bero på att lite färg inte är så tokigt trots allt, samt att jag använder tarot mycket. Men det är en riktigt bra lek, med enkla, kraftfulla budskap och en jättebra guidebok. En lek som passar dig som dras till enkelhet och mystik och som kanske tröttnat på mainstream-lekarna och vill ha något annorlunda! Tack.
