VKJ784 Hot Cup with Variable Water Dispenser-Breville

Takes 1 minute and 10 seconds to heat and dispense a cupful of hot water.Doesn't splash unlike other brands/models.Low noise, but not silent.Quite a good product, very happy with it. Only shortcoming is, the tank is only 2 litres. Ideally I wanted a hot water dispenser I would fill up once per week in my home office, but I have to fill it more than.

Love this hot cup, it doesn't use much electricity and has two settings on, one for cup and one for a mug.

I bought one of these 2years ago. That's how long it lasted, very expensive for only a couple of years service. Gone back to my old kettle I would not recommend this product

I've had my machine now for just over 2 years so decided now was a suitable time to do a review. Firstly and most importantly, living on my own, I noticed a significant reduction in my electric bill, the main reason I purchased the machine. The variable cup control is fantastic, and you'll soon get to know the required setting for each cup you have.The down sides now, the fancy blue light inside no longer works, and this is the only indication that you pressed the button and the machine is operating. Measuring the temperature of dispensed water registers only 80 degree Celsius of water as it arrives in the cup. Hopefully this has improved on newer models. Thankfully I've not suffered from lid problems, or erratic water dispensing. I will consider another Breville One Cup in future, far better than the competitors, but can still be improved and made more reliable.
