Don't try to reuse any of your old hardware, use the hardware that's in the box.
This suction cup works great. The month of August in South Texas is brutal hitting triple digits every day and it's holding just fine.

Good replacement.
My previous dash cam suction cup melted to the windshield because temperatures got above 100° and it was probably 150 in the direct sun on my windshield so I bought this as a replacement. So far so good. I will update my review if the sun melts this one.

Perfect replacement
Works great as a replacement! It had enough parts to fit mine. The seal is super strong. Better out where you want it because it will stay.

Works Okay, Fitment Issues
It's a good replacement for the Nexar Beam, however the only complaint I have is that the notch slides out of the dash cam a lot, causing the camera to fall off the mounting location. I did find a sweet spot for it and it's been doing okay, however I think the tolerances on the little plastic notch on this mount are smaller, causing less of an interference fit than the OEM one. Summary: It's good quality, and works, but does have fitment issues.

Perfect replacement
This was exactly what I was looking for! Fit my dash cam and holds up to the summer heat. When I have time I'm going to see if it will also fit my favorite phone mount.

Guter Ersatz. Die Zeit wird zeigen, wie lang.

Really good suction
Really good grip to the windshield. I replaced an existing identical one that came with the dash cam. The original one was OK, but I believe that the replacement one has better suction.
