I've been really enjoying using these Canson artbooks - they're the only ones that I found to open up completely flat. The paper is great for drawing too. Overall, a great sketchbook.

I'm a big fan of these sketchbooks. The page isn't a stark white, they can handle wet media, they're light so dont weigh down my rucksack and they lay flat. Very happy with my purchase.

Canson make the best sketchbooks I've ever used as a professional illustrator. Moleskine are a massive rip off, these ones are perfect for all kinds of media. I frequently ink, and pencil in mine.

It's an alright sketchbook, not my favourite and won't buy it again. I like that it lays flat. It's alright with a lot of mediums but not great, paper is pretty thin and the magnetic closure strap is constantly in the way

Good paper, colour and binding ( ^ω^)

I bought this as a replacement for a moleskine journal. I'm not sure it is quite up to the job. I was interested because it opens flat and the paper is white. The size of the paper is great, the binding is brilliant. The pages do fold flat really nicely, but the magnetic tab is a bit fiddly. I've only found one way to really get it out of the way when drawing, which is to fold it back on itself.The paper is a nice white colour, with a bit of tooth which I like, but it is much thinner than I expected. I find myself pressing into one, two, even three pages when I use a hard pencil or pen! This ruins the pages below for drawing on. I can only really use one side of the paper, even with pencil. This means I'm effectively halving the working space of this sketchbook.I'd far rather have half the pages and better quality, thicker paper. Please sort it Canson, because this could be a lovely book!
