My grandson just turned two and it was his favorite toy from his birthday!! He plays with it EVERYDAY!!! I love it!! The age on the box is 3+, but I totally recommend this drill to all your lil ones. My granddaughter is five and she plays with it as well!!!

Keeps my handy little guy busy! My son is two and always wants to be 'fixing' this gives him appropriate things to put together and take apart over and over. Very durable so far and the drill although not powerful for safety reasons is fully functional and frustration free.

My 3 year old grandson needed a little assistance to get started with this but he absolutely loves it. Great for motor skills. Probably better for a little older child if you’re not supervising them. Lots of gears and screws to change out.

Great quality toy that provides a hands on experience for problem solving for young kids. The pictures are colorful and easy to use and swap out. Toy was reasonably priced as well.

My son loves this so much. He usually watch me be the handy man. So I got him a kids drill so he can follow me.

My 2Y grandson loves this but it could use a non slip bottom because it moved across the table as he used it. He is obsessed with using this and so it is worth the money. Has lots of parts, some that i put back for later when he is more skilled at this.

This is a sweet set. 2 1/2 year old grandson loves it. He'll often grab this drill to 'help' grampa fix things around the house. You need to patiently teach toddler the correct angle to hold drill and the switching function to screw in versus out the bolts but once done, they take off!!!! I am guilty of playing with it myself :-). Great quality, attractive colors!

I like that our grandson was thrilled to receive this gift for his 5th birthday, but then, I knew he was going to like it because he plays with my set of Design and Drill everytime he comes to our house for a visit. Now he has his very own set, but it's different from mine so he'll still have an interest in the one we have when he comes to stay over. He wanted to play with it immediately but had other gifts to open, but I know he's going to have lots of fun with it because the set we have occupies him for long periods of time. He is just SO into drilling and using that little toy! LOL So, yes I would definitely purchase this Educational Insights Design and Drill Gears Workshop 55 pieces and would recommend it for any child at all. It's just one of those great toys every child should experience! The only problem would be if there is a younger sibling in the house that likes to put things in their mouth because the little pieces would not be good for that and would definitely need to be kept up and watched carefully by an adult if a small child was anywhere about. Just sayin. But we've been able to manage it for about a little over a year now when they were one and three.
