For the price I expected a bit more than this little package. But Hagerty is the known #1 product in Sterling Silver preservation, so in time I'm sure this investment will prove a wise one. Having to polish by hand is torture! I just did that!!

I always use these bags. They help to deter tarnishing and prevent scratching. If you need to nest anything in one bag I suggest using paper towels or a piece of pacific cloth between the pieces, which also helps to deter scratching. While nothing will prevent eventual tarnish on your silver pieces, these bags help quite a bit and will keep your silver in lovely condition far longer than if they were not in these bags.

I have been using these blue silver protector bags for many years. They are quite expensive, but they absolutely do what they claim to do: keep your silver pieces tarnish free. My latest purchase was storage bags to protect an antique chafing dish, and I got a couple small bags for jewelry. Great product, and worth the $ to avoid spending time polishing tarnished silver.
