A little wobbly but does the job well.
This is an inexpensive addition to clip onto your existing desk provided you have the right desk dimensions. The clamps need about 1.5" depth into the desk for a secure clasp. The desk clasping section should be no more than 2" thick. Assembly is very easy and my version came with a small screwdriver to make it even easier. The best feature imo is that this may be the only keyboard base that has three height settings. Obviously, if you have a standing desk, you only need to raise the desk for proper height. But what this might solve is those among us who tend to lift our fingers high when typing. I chose the lowest setting for that purpose and it works well. I can type with the tray under the desk even, and while I cannot see my fingers, I know that they will not hit the underside of the desk. The only downside is that this is a wobbly add-on. You want to pull the tray from the center, not from the sides. The sliding mechanism is fairly small so it can easily get stuck at an angle if you do not pull the tray out from the center. Not a big issue if you're gentle with it. highly recommend.

Solid and well thought out product!
This is an awesome product that exceeded my expectations. I bought the small size but it’s big enough to fit my ergonomic keyboard. I have a glass desk that is about 3/4” thick. It’s quite tall and really needs a keyboard tray to be comfortable for keyboard. I was not sure I would find anything that worked with the glass, but this is perfect! The inside of the top of the clamp part has a rubberized grip pad but the bottom of the clamp is just metal. So I did end up using some black sticker foam (from the dollar store) as padding to protect the glass. The tray is very secure and more stable than I anticipated. The installation instructions were very straightforward and printed on the outside of the box. It came with an extra of each size screw in case you dropped one and lost it. And they even included a mini screwdriver so I didn’t have to go find one! I was able to Put it together and install it in about 5 minutes. This is a very well thought out product.

Does the job but not super sturdy
My home "office" is a closet desk set up which works marvelously--except the desktop is veneered particle board--so I can't drill into it for a traditional keyboard tray. I needed a tray that was long enough to accommodate my ergonomic keyboard and a mouse side by side. This one fit that bill. I also needed one that I could install as low as possible below the desktop (I am a short person with long arms) and, with three height settings, this one also mostly fit that requirement--I do wish there were more levels for adjustment as the tray is still too high when I put my chair in its highest position, but this is still considerably better than having my keyboard at desk height.. The tray was incredibly easy to install and came with a small screwdriver. I think it took me 10-15 minutes, max. I noted other reviewer comments about the fact that it doesn't pull out evenly, and that's true, but I've found it fairly easy to compensate for that by using two hands and not yanking it in and out--still a bit annoying, but manageable. The other issue I've noticed is that the screws that attach the keyboard surface to the sliding mechanism do not stay tight (today, after about 5 weeks of use, I discovered one of the screws on the floor after my mouse slid off the back of the tray when the tray tilted backward). Now I know to tighten the screws periodically--a minor annoyance, but hopefully it will solve the falling mouse problem.

Super easy installation and fits all my junk
Hey - I got this nifty electronic standing desk from my employer the Federal Government. (Thank you, taxpayers!) Trouble is, it is narrow and can't fit all my stuff, which includes the stand upon which I place my monitor so I see it at a level that is comfortable for my arms while I am typing. So I now have my monitor up on a couple-three reams of paper and my wrists are comfy with my keyboard on the pull out drawer. Of course because my desk doesn't actually belong to me - I am merely being allowed to use it (Thank you, taxpayers!) I couldn't attach anything to it permanently, or that would damage it. Enter this clip on keyboard drawer! (Which I bought for myself.) It took all of about seven minutes to install and that was even with screwing the clamps on backward the first time. It has three different height settings which can be easily adjusted by unscrewing and re-screwing the screws. The tray is very wide and very deep, so if you have one of those deep and curvy ergonomic keyboards, it will fit on here. It slides smoothly under the desk, but not so smoothly that it escapes while I am using it. The front edge is rounded so it's not going to irritate my wrists. All in all a great purchase that I hope to use until the next government shutdown, when I will be forced to sell everything I own to feed my family.

Almost perfect!!
This really should have been 5 stars. The tray itself was perfect. And it was large enough that it could easily support both my keyboard and mouse. It seems very sturdy, the rollers that allow the tray to go in and our worked seamlessly and It was easy to put together! I really thought it was going to be perfect for me. But it didn’t work for my desk! My desk is slim and L shaped and running along the front of it, about 1 1/2 inches back from the edge is a 3/4 inch square metal support bar. That bar is just far enough forward that it doesn’t allow the round piece that screws up from the bottom to lay flat So the tray is unable to attach itself all the way back to allow it to be secure. So I can’t use it and need to return it. I’m not happy about it and when I called to see if that had some attachment or after market thing that could make it work, or a pull out tray with a different design I was told they don’t have many choices and nothing would work. So that it why it is only 3 stars instead of 5. They need to know that not every person works in an office with a big executive desk. This is 2013 and after Covid a lot of us work from home and due to workspace size we need to make different choices about our desk and other things. So they also need to up date the designs to keep up with the times,

Makes working fron home actually work!
Working from home, I have my dining table set with two laptops, a Bluetooth keyboard, a Bluetooth mouse, and a 27" monitor on my dining table. It works out fine except the height of the dining table is too high for the keyboard and mouse and stresses my back. This was the right item at the right price. Assembly instructions are on the back of the box it ships in. It took about 5 minutes to assemble and even came with its own screwdriver as well as two extra screws. The height adjustment allowed the keyboard to slide under the table and out of the way. It's large enough to hold both an extended keyboard and my mouse. Best of all, my back isn't stressing any longer. The keyboard tray has a bit of wiggle as it moves in and out under the table due to the clap-on design but it holds in place once fully extended. This was exactly what I was looking for. It suits my needs perfectly!

Should have bought this 10 months ago
I am a graduate student who, like all other students, went virtual in March of 2020. I've had classes, projects, and even (virtual) fieldwork in ergonomics, yet spent all day hunched over my 14 inch lap top. I finally caved in and bought some stuff. It has only been 2 days but I am so grateful for this keyboard tray! It came together very easily, and I clamped it onto my desk while in zoom class. It has a small ridge at the front which is extremely uncomfortable for your wrists/forearms, but perfect if you have a wrist wrest (as seen in the first photo) because it keeps it in place. It also has a ridge in the back to keep your keyboard and mouse from sliding off the end. I bought the 20 inch tray because I have limited space underneath my desk, and it was challenging to find a keyboard that still left enough room for the mouse. I could not seem to find any keyboards without the number pad on the right side that were not Bluetooth, overly expensive, or poorly designed. I ended buying a keyboard that is about 15 inches wide from best buy, and it leaves just enough room for the mouse. If you have room to buy the larger size tray, you will have a lot more options in terms of keyboards. I also like that the tray height is adjustable. On the highest adjustment, it leaves about 3 inches between the top of the tray and the bottom of my desk. When typing and mousing, my elbows are at a perfect 90 degree angle. I gave the sturdiness a rating of 4 because the tray sort of wobbles up and down when you move it, but it does not affect function in any way. Maybe just don't rest your elbows on it. Overall, would buy again!

Keyboard Tray is good
Yes this worked out well. A little expensive but very secure to my desk and height is just right

Functional and attractive
this is a nice keyboard tray, easy to install and matches my white compact standing desk. Feels a little flimsy and the coaster is not so smooth when sliding but it is holding up well
