The media could not be loaded.  This is what I would call a great little introductory projector with a lot of features For the price. I used them attached to camera tripods to display animated scenes in my windows for Halloween. I used rear projection screens and the images were bright, sharp and clear (see pictures).I was hesitant to purchase this projector because it was listed for such a low price. However, I was very pleasantly surprised when I tested it and I ended immediately buying a second one! The accept hdmi input, but you can also play your content from a USB drive or SD Memory card to enable the projector to be used as a stand-alone player. The built-in ability to flip the playback horizontally was also great when using the rear projection screens.I will mention the focus and image tilt dials feel very “plastic-like”, but they worked well and they neither control ‘drifted’ after they were set, even with hours of continuous use. I can easily forgive some plastic at this price point.One tip to help you during set up... download a full screen test pattern image or video (lots of them freely available) and put it on a usb drive. You can then use this to adjust your projector distance from the screen, focus and tint. Much easier than trying to do it with your video content playing.

There are better projectors out there, but I think this is decent for a cheaper projector. The sound that comes out of the projector is really quiet and not sufficient. You will want to add speakers. We planned on using a speaker via bluetooth but can't with this machine, so we had to buy an adapter that allowed us to use our speaker with its USB connection. The projector doesn't accept the USB for the speaker, that is why it needed an adapter.When we had some issues figuring everything out with the projector, we contacted the seller and they were quick to reply and helpful.We have owned our for over a year and haven't had any problems with it working for us.

UPDATED: I have updated my review after using for six months. I've found quite a lot of uses for this, but love it best to show photos at parties and short video clips. This is a great portable projector for darker areas with a white backdrop.The product itself works nice if you are hoping to watch some movies or videos in lower quality than your tv. For my purposes of watching some movies with friends in a dark basement this device does really well. For the most part the picture is good enough to be enjoyable. Some shows it can look like the contrast is too high no matter the picture setting. If you are wanting a hd picture with great sound this isnt for you. It is more for a casual night out, showing off some home videos, or great for holiday displays. I don't use the built in speaker, i prefer an external speaker.

We wanted a projector that would let us watch movies and shows while settling in for the night. This projector allows us to watch movies on the ceiling, so that we don't have to crane our necks at odd angles to watch a television, which we don't have. While this is not high def, it is completely fine for our purposes. The only improvement I'd like to see in future models is that the lens focus adjustment does not fall back into place when you point the projector up.Another great, unexpected, feature is that you can plug in a flash drive and watch videos from the drive. You don't need to connect a separate video player device.The sound is not great, but you can connect an audio system, or just a little rechargeable speaker like we have. The video player has a USB power outlet to keep the speaker charged.

I purchased this because it was on sale, and I don’t regret it. It serves its purpose and is overall pretty good. It makes an obnoxious buzzing sound when you first turn it on, but it goes away shortly thereafter. The volume is good for a smaller space, but I have it connected to small speakers to amplify the sound a little. The screen quality is fair, and can be adjusted to accommodate the size and distance of the projection, but do not expect perfection or top of the line. It is clear enough though. Price-wise, it’s a decent purchase and I appreciate that it takes up very little space.

I got the mini projector for my daughter and I to play video games with and we love it. The projector is small and easy to set up anywhere. The projector had great brightness and sharp resolution but unfortunately after turning it on a few nights ago the light turned white and then would not power back on. The best part of dbpower was their great customer service! I contacted an customer service rep online and in a few minutes was told they will replace my projector! No run around or hassle- great job DBPOWER!

I got exactly what I hoped for: a reasonably-priced projector that works. I use it primarily for watching movies, but I also used it as a second screen for a karaoke night, and the whole audience was able to sing along with the performers.The quality isn't the best you'll find out there, so if you're looking for top of the line HD, this isn't it.If you want good resolution, good brightness, and a great price, this will do what you need!

I want to love this little projector, however the one I received today was clearly damaged. Upon setting it up you can see a giant squiggly line along the left side of the image. I opened the device and I found a single hair on the back of the focusing lens. -1 stars because I had to fix it myself and didnt want to deal with return shipping and buying a new one. However the customer support for the item is/was outstanding, they even said they would honor it's warranty even tho I opened the device to fix it.
