Ok but could be better
I bought this for a 6 week trip around Europe, travelling by train to mainly cities. The bag was lightweight and sturdy, and stood up well to being trundled along city streets and hauled on and off trains. I also took 4 flights and apart from the odd scuff it has survived in good condition. I didn’t need to use the backpack straps, in the end, however I tried it as a backpack whilst fully packed and found it ok, I wouldn’t have liked to carry it for long however, and it certainly wasn’t as comfortable as my hiking rucksack as it’s not ergonomically designed. Having done long distance walks with a proper rucksack, my advice would be to use one in preference to the cabin max if you know you will be carrying your luggage long distances. The inside compartment was deep and took all my stuff, with the addition of a small hold-all. I didn’t take a laptop and found some of the smaller pockets superfluous, while other items moved around in the larger zipped pocket. The zip seems sturdy enough but the pulls don’t align to put a padlock through. Also I needed to padlock it to hold the zip ends together as otherwise the zips came undone, probably because I overfilled it but annoying. The zips holding the straps in place kept coming undone, which meant the strap ends came loose and got caught under the wheels; this was annoying, the zip really needs to go right round the bottom of the straps to avoid this. The handle is t shaped which takes up less space in the bag, however it was slightly less comfortable to hold when wheeling the bag. The main issue with the handle for me was that I couldn’t fix my hold-all on top of it( it has a strap designed so you can do this) as it just spun around the single handle as soon as I started to pull the case. I’d taken a hold-all with a shoulder strap as I thought it would be easier if I needed to use the cabin max as a backpack but with hindsight a rucksack would have been better.Other reviewers have mentioned that you can see items inside the bag when the handle is in use, whilst this wasn’t a problem for me, as we had good weather, if you were using it in wet weather things would get wet.So to summarise: as a suitcase it works quite well but could be improved, I wouldn’t pay extra for the backpack straps unless you really know you need to use it as a backpack, and if you need to carry it as a backpack long distances, take a proper rucksack. Thanks for reading, and hope this helps. To put the above into perspective I’m female, retired and reasonably fit.

More compartments than listed
Haven’t used it yet but I’m very happy with the size and the weight plus it’s got more compartments than listed in the description.

Fantastic!! Reply happy with it
Really good product. Fit as much stuff in it as the wheelie 55cm cases but this is better as its got a few outside pockets for liquids and electronics so you don’t need to whip open the full case and flash your drawers to everyone!Bonus is that its meets the under seat regs for Ryanair snd easyJet so saves you like £40 each return trip , so pays for itself after 3 single journeys.I don’t use the backpack option much but it’s great at tricking the airline staff that it’s just a backpack!I’ve just bought another one today for the Mrs!Also the blue one looks really good and doesn’t look cheap. Can’t comment on the black one. It arrives tomorrow though so can update my review

Meets easyJet small bag measurements…to a point
Used this bag for the first time for a work trip yesterday/today. Performed well. Decent quality - not sure how robust the netting on the inside laptop section will be long term or how long the handles will last but time will tell. Definitely fits the easyJet small bag requirements - even with the wheels. I popped it in their measuring stand today…however, it was a snug fit and I hadn’t packed it full. Because it’s a soft shell case I’m sure that if it were packed to capacity it would max out the measurements and not fit in their stand, if challenged.

Perfect cabin bag.
I’ve used this a few times now and have found it perfect for every trip. Just big enough for all your needs without being too big to wear as a back pack if you want to.

Ideal for weekend trip
Managed to get everything in that I needed for a 5 night trip (3 nights in Spain and 2 in UK). Travelled with EasyJet and had no problem with the size. Only complaint is that the straps are a bit short - okay for me at 5ft 3” but tight on my larger son. Being able to wear as rucksack was a bonus when rushing for trains, and the wheels meant the airport was a doddle.

Does what it says on the tin
Plenty of storage. Handled my trip away without disintegrating. Zips seem sturdy and wheels and handle made pulling the bag around easy.
