Candle 42w = 60w SES (E14) Halogen Eco Energy Saving Bulb Pack of 10

I bought these as they were great value for money. I fitted them and the brightness was great, however they lasted less than a week. Really disappointed in this. Hopefully the seller will look into this and sort this out

We have a number of lights that use these bulbs. We're aware that halogen bulbs are being phased out, but we haven't yet been able to find a suitable led bulb. Hopefully before we've used these up, we'll have found led bulbs we like.

Bought these for my Mum last December. Unfortunately didn’t think to check them.Changed a bulb for her today and Out of a pack of 10 only 3 worked.Will definitely not be buying these again.

One bulb smashed in transit. The first bulb that I used lasted 8hrs then blew. I am on my 3rd bulb now and will see how long that lasts. You learn by your mistakes

Seemed to be good value for money but the first one has now failed after less than a month of infrequent use. Not impressed.

3 out of 10 blown to date and not due to electrical supply reasonsI believe that there is a quality requirement issue and that bulbs should last for a certain period but proving it is another matter and getting replacements pointless unless you wait them to allow blow and return in 1 parcel.Probably imported from China whose imported merchandise is ruining the US and now ours.

So far this has been an excellent purchase. it has a good light output which is crucial as i am using it in the kids room and they love reading booksI have bought similar bulbs previously from the supermarket, but they were much more expensive and lasted only a very short time .... this seems to be standing up well.

Excellent value, even if I don't get to use them all!
