These are tried and true pens usually, but I had trouble with the ink bleeding and lifting when water was applied. I frequently use watercolor paints paired with pen, and these just didn't hold up, even after waiting an hour. Be careful.

It's not a brush!!!
These are not a brush as in made of bristles! Just a very fragile conical sponge! I'm disappointed by lack of clarity...they do have a harder core and the material isn't super soft throughout which maybe interesting for some but not what I wanted!
