Gtech 1-03-084 Power Floor Vacuum Cleaner, Plastic, 140 W, Grey/Green/Black

Decided to upgrade to this model after the handle on my other cleaner - the very first Gtech which I don't think they sell anymore - became a bit loose. I skipped past the Airram because I wanted the handheld multi part of the cleaner. Have to say, I love this new cleaner, it is so versatile & easy to use & does a thorough job on both hardwood floors & carpets ( & mattresses ). I like the way the various parts simply click together depending on what sort of cleaning you want to do. Battery life is very good. Only the other day I cleaned our upstairs hallway, bedroom, bathroom, spare room, the stairs ( all carpeted ) & our mattress from a full charge until it ran out. Charging is a lot quicker than the original model, it only takes 4 hours to fully charge. Cleaning it is nice & easy too. The dirt container can be washed after emptying. With the sponge filter though, if you wash or rinse it out to clean it ( & this does need to be done ), you need to leave it to dry thoroughly for a couple of days before using it again, if you don't it gives out an unpleasant smell when you next use it. Drying it on a radiator is not recommended by Gtech. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a lightweight, easy to use & versatile vacuum cleaner that does the job.

Not enough suction power, hair easily gets wrapped around Hoover head. Won’t pick up anything

Amazing, might not have a big motor, but it certainly sucks up well, warehouse deal, half price, can't go wrong, said used like new, it is new!!! Box never been opened, or damaged, thats the 3rd deal ive purchased, cant go wrong!!.

I have hated this hoover since the day I bought it worst suction everRubbish on hard floors especially when trying to hoover up tiny bits like little stones or grit everything just comes back out as soon as you hoover it upI have had it for 12 months now and just ordered a DysonAlso battery life is total rubbish The worst £199.00 I have ever spentGlad to get rid if I’m honestBuyer beware

Doesn't pick up well, you have to wash the filter after every second/third use or it just clogs, not very powerful. Very disappointed considering the money I spent. OK if you just want a 'run through' but no good for a proper vacuum.

This is a very good cordless cleaner. It was bought for an elderly lady to provide a simple to use lightweight cleaner. She is very impressed with the cleaning ability and the separate hand hand device.The downside is that the clips for removing the dust collector and the charging unit plug that goes into the cleaner are both very difficult to operate as she has arthritis. A simple modification here would provide an even better product

We have the Dyson hand held and the Dyson corded upright, bought sepatately admittedly a few years ago but the handheld became very unreliable and kept cutting out every 10 seconds. This machine has much more powerful suction in my opinion and the battery life indicator is a great bonus. It is very well made, just as the Dysons are but this unit stays on when the button is pressed, not a trigger which has to be held on. It is perfect for laminate, wood and tiled floors with the long extension attached but maybe just a bit more difficult to push and pull on thicker piled carpets if you are used to a conventional upright with 4 wheels or a roller ball, although it still does the job very well.Great value and just the job for the car. Maybe Dyson have upped their game since my Dyson purchases a while ago, but they really will have to because this unit is better than what we had and again in my opinion, a real threat to the market leader.

Absolutely useless. Even with a full charge it fails to pick up the lightest amount of dust/hair. I guess if you have a small apartment and not a family home it would be OK.Back to a Dyson for my wife, she much prefers it.
