Televes130990 Evoka Sleek Metro Urban ans Suburban 50+ Mile Indoor/Outdoor Hi-VHF/UHF Antenna 5G Extender. Tabletop, Wall, or Mast Mountable

I live in New Hampshire 40 straight line miles from the Boston market TV antennas. Have been struggling with OTA reception due to many trees surrounding my house. I live in an HOA, so rooftop installation is not available. I installed this on the railing of my deck, a 15 ft run from the TV. I now get all the Boston stations. It is expensive…but you get what you pay for. I have on order the ADTH next gen 3.0 tuner. All of the network Boston stations are Next gen, but the best part is that I will be connect to the TV with an HDMI, which I already have snaked behind the wall.

This thing just works, which is exactly what you want with a premium product. Tested this device in a bottom floor apartment surrounded by buildings on each side. Antenna picked up 80+ channels on first digital tuning on TV in that environment (see pic for example). I did look at rabbit ears profile of the location but was not overly scientific in orientation. Can’t wait to mess around with 5G pickup however not even sure how to implement that currently : )

First, there were no instructions (as another reviewer commented), and I had to find the setup on Youtube.Second, I installed this at the same elevation and same angle/direction as prior antenna. Went down from 40 chanels to 18 channels. Very disappointing performance, especially for the price.I cannot recommend this antenna or vendor.

I live pretty close to my major broadcast towers, and for years I got by with inexpensive or homemade TV antennas. Today I tried the Televes Evoca 130990 and was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely big for an indoor antenna, but it was easy to set up, and I couldn't argue with the results. Signal was more stable on existing stations, and I was able to pull in a few more channels from the fringe of my viewing area. Definitely mount it about 6' or more off the ground for best results. The antenna comes with a reflector, hardware to mount it on a pole, and an amplifier with a 1A USB power supply. I'm really interested to see how this performs once I get a NextGenTV, and even the 5G modem connection for MIMO in the future.

Excellent antenna! Small footprint so it would be great choice for renters, apartments or HOA restrictions. Pulled in more channels than my 70+ mile larger antenna. Multiple mounting options also.
