Perfect for a single person. One chicken fillet is all you can fit on but thats what I wanted. Nice colour but easy to chip the cream paint so be careful

Bought to replace an existing George Foreman Grill which although working was looking a little shabby after a lot of use. This new one is a different colour, cream instead of white but works just fine. I use it to cook square sausage which is a Scottish thing but I am sure you could cook anything on these. Great value and highly recommended.

One of my most hated household chores is cleaning out the grill pan so I thought this could be a good alternative for those times when I only need to grill small portions.This unit doesn’t have any temperature control. You simply plug it in and it will heat up and a light on the top of the unit will go out when it is heated up. It seemed to heat up extremely quickly (only a couple of minutes) and then you put whatever you want to grill onto the plate and close the lid. It has an adjustable hinge allowing for different thicknesses of food. This works but does feel a little wobbly.The instructions do provide guideline cooking times for different types of food. I have actually found that it is taking a bit longer than shown in the guidelines so its a bit of trial and error to get the cooking times right to fit in with the rest of the meal being ready!It is reassuring to see the fat draining off and quite an eye opener to see how much comes out! As the fat drains away from the heat you dont get the spitting and splashing that you get from a normal grill pan which is good.The unit is easy to clean – wait for it to cool down so that it is warm but not hot and simply wipe over the grilling surfaces with a kitchen towel. I also use a kitchen towel to wipe out the fat collector tray and then this can be washed as normal (it is dishwasher safe).I dont like that the light goes out when the temperature is reached as visually there is nothing to show that the unit is switched on. You have to remember to switch it off at the wall socket. I would prefer that there was some sort of power light on it to remind you that it is switched on.Also, there is nothing to help you store it away – it cannot be stored vertically as there isn’t anything to hold the lid onto the base and there is no cable storage which would be handy.Overall this until doesn’t feel very robust. I will use it for odd times when I want to grill something quickly and easily but I dont think this is going to be in regular use in my house.

George Foremans are brilliant and this is the perfect size for 2 people!

Love my new George Foreman grill in cream which matches my new kitchen. Very suitable for cooking for two people - 2 steaks, 2 chicken breasts,etc. Much cleaner than using the oven/grill.
