I bought this to replace a TP-Link Wifi adapter. It just seemed to lose connection too easily, so I thought it would be worth getting a new adapter and seeing whether I could get better performance.I spent some time having a look through all the available options. I didn’t want to get a cheap adapter that had issues immediately. This is what I wanted:• Enough range to easily work with a router that was two flights of stairs away.• A decent speed so as not to limit internet connectivity• Something that is innocuous and subtle.• A reasonable price.This adapter, so far, seems to fit the bill. The range is good and as you can see in one of the screenshots has the program showing strength of signal.The speed is not quite as fast as advertised, but it is correct given that it has to go through several walls and floors. It is still a lot faster than the internet connection and therefore not a bottleneck.The size and shape is very subtle. A small blue LED light flashes denoting transfer of data, but it sits very neatly without drawing any notice.And then the price is good. This is the same as a host of other adapters in its capabilities. It is one of the cheaper ones - although I wont see the cheapest as I cant be sure I’ve seen them all!So it definitely works and is a great solution to my problem.

Used in a HP netbook which was getting 25 Mbps with the factory WiFi card.With EkoBuy fitted, speed has been minimum 120 Mbps and up to 145 Mbps.Installation was plug and play using Windows to update driver instead of enclosed cd.Tested on VM 300 Mbps Broadband using 5ghz band.Overall bargain price considering build quality, performance, and ease of use and setup.

I initially declared this WiFi adapter as being useless as didn't work whatever I did. My previous WiFi 802.11g adapter worked fine on the end of a 2 metre USB lead, I assumed this would do the same - No. This adapter requires more current so either get a high quality/rated USB lead or plug it directly into a USB port on the PC/laptop. It was only after reading other negative comments and trying various permutations myself that I got this adapter to work. Update 08.03.2018 - I have now plugged the adapter into the back of the PC which is tucked into a corner of the room. In theory it should suffer as poor line of sight - it doesn't, goes like greased lightening. Massive increase in speed and very stable. I would now recommend as a purchase but heed my comments above

Using Windows 7 it was necessary to open the files on the disk and use the 'setup' file for windows. From then everything was straightforward and no issues were encountered. A very useful dual band adaptor at an amazing price. I gave the 'sound quality' no stars at it isn't really applicable.

On my Asus ROG laptop (W10) connected to OPPO Find 7 the default Intel is 72.2Mbps, with this adaptor it's 72Mbps. When connected to an Asus Fonepad the Intel is again 72.2Mbps, yet with the adaptor it's 54Mbps. So this thing actually REDUCES speed when connected to either phone. AP mode is worse – no connection… ‘setting internet connection sharing’ pops up constantly. If you want reduced speed and faulty connection, EkoBuy is for you.

Worked great, brought new life to my old laptop but bumped it slightly while moving laptop and now its knackered. Obviously its pretty cheap so didnt expect much durability. Good product just a bit flimsy.

My 10 year old HP laptop started developing problems with its inbuilt Wi-Fi adapter. All other devices in the house had no problems maintaining a connection. I had tried a different set of drivers but after a few hours, the connection would drop. Even switching the adapter off and on again did nothing.This little adapter appeared to answer my prayers without having to invest in a new laptop. The adapter is small and unobtrusive. The only time you'll know it's there is by seeing the flashing blue LED. Installation under Windows 10 Pro was simple. Although a disc is supplied I don't think it is required.Performance wise - the connection has been rock solid and hasn't missed a heartbeat. My remote login sessions with our corporate network remained stable. The adapter can pick up both 2.4 and 5 ghz bands and the speed is pretty good.A worthwhile purchase.

My old laptop wifi card died, it just could not handle Windows 10 ..... Tried a few replacements and all worked for short time, until the next update, then back to loosing Wifi capability ....Bought one of these, and wow !!! ...... Rather than waste time trying to replace the built in wifi adapter, I wish I had just bought one of these brilliant little gadgets to start with .....Amazing ...... problem solved instantly .... drivers supplied on disc, but if you have Windows 10, none needed, simply plug in and it found router immediately ..... Very, impressed for very little money have a guaranteed connection that will work on any laptop, should any other machine have problems with it’s built in wifi card – which seems to be happening more often – I should maybe buy a spare one for my husband’s old relic of a machine ...... Totally unobtrusive, so small you would hardly notice it ...... Great Buy !!!!

Ich hab mir nach der ersten Bestellung gleich noch einen zweiten Stick für meinen zweiten Laptop bestellt. Funktioniert einwandfrei, und man benötigt nicht einmal die Treiber-CD zur Installation. Dazu hat dieser Stick noch den größten Empfangspegel gegenüber anderen getesten Sticks.

Pour 10€, ce produit est super, je l'ai acheter pour la bande 5 GHz qui fonctionne très bien.Attention ce produit n'augmente pas la ssensibilité de votre ordinateur .

Nur eine TreiberCD. Keine Möglichkeit den Treiber beim Hersteller zu laden. Wir haben mittlerweile kein einziges DVD-Drive mehr im Office.

Installé sur un PC Windows 10 qui ne captait pas la bande 5gz, aucune configuration à faire, la clé a été reconnu et la bande 5GZ est devenue accessible.

Contrairement à ce qu'indique le site du vendeur, les drivers ne sont pas intégrés dans la plupart des distributions linux (vérifié sur fedora, linux mint et raspbian). Il faut les installer.Pour le raspberry pi, il suffit de suivre les instructions du thread n° 194859 sur le forum de raspberry (je ne peux pas mettre son adresse ici, les URL sont censurées par amazon).Sur un Raspberry Pi3, j'ai mesuré un débit de 180 Mbits/s sur la bande 5GHz.
