The PERFECT Japanese Rice!
This is my first experience with trying genuine Japanese rice and I have to say that it was so easy (if not a little time consuming, but it is SO WORTH IT!). All you do is make sure you wash the rice in cold water about 5 times, until the water is almost clear, and then follow the instructions on the box if you want to. I decided to get a genuine Japanese rice instruction recipe from Google (Recipe Tin Japan) and the process was simple and straightforward. I will never cook rice in any other way from now on as the results were absolutely perfect. Lovely sticky rice to go with my homemade chicken teriyaki was a winner and is now a firm favourite with my daughter and her other half. Yes, this rice is a bit pricey but if you want authenticity then this is it. I will never go back to serving long grain rice with my Japanese recipes. Need to buy a few boxes next time as it goes very quickly in this house! Very highly recommended. Packaging and delivery was brilliant as usual from Amazon Prime! I am a very happy customer!

Taste and texture like restaurant sushi rice and very well packaged.Personally, I prefer to wash the rice before cooking and add a little less water (1.4 to 1 instead of 1.5 as instructions) - right softness but not overly sticky and thus easier to mix with sushi vinegar without breaking the grains.Much better than UK supermarket sushi rice
