This system provides a protective layer of air at the base of the case, so if you were to drop the bag, the base of the case would take the impact instead of your lens. Very pleased with the quality of the case.
Just the right size for my Nikon B700 camera so there is no rattling of the camera in the case and there is enough space for the neck strap on top of the camera and still zip up the cover on the case without a struggle to do it up. Handy compartments on the sides of the case for ancillary items like spare batteries and spare memory cards and there is a zip up compartment on the front of the case under the lid flap for storage of other bits and pieces within reason. I currently use it to store the weatherproof cover that came with the case.

Perfect for Nikon coolpix B700 and similar.
Nikon Coolpix B700 fits perfectly.Case comes with two support "straps" to help support the camera. I only used one, which supports the body when camera inserted lens down or supports the lens with the camera accommodated with the lens to the side.Very secure case. The lid can be both zipped and clipped closed. The case has a zipped net storage in lid, perfect for spare batteries and SD card. Zipped pocket at the front, perfect for USB lead storage, small battery charger and the unused support strap. The case can be carried by the supplied shoulder strap, which looks basic but adequate, carry handle on the lid or on the waist via integral belt loop straps (yet to try). There are also two side nets for less secure storage of items and a rear pocket that I've used to store the supplied rain cover (not obvious how this fits - yet to experiment).

Excellent quality camera case
Excellent quality camera case. Compact and functional for our Nikon bridge camera. Useful pockets for accessories. Eve comes with a shower cover to keep the rain off the main case! :-)

Well made but a little to small.
It is advertised as being for. B500 B700 but I had trouble getting my camera in it, my instinct was to send it back but as I had already sent the first one back I perciviered. However after saying that it is a very well made case and delivery was very quick. If I was buying again I would check dimensions, because it is a little small.

Excellent quality
No complaints about this camera bag whatsoever. Very well made. I use it for my Nikon Coolpix B700 placing the camera on its side so that it can be taken out easily with the hand grip on its right hand side, and there is plenty of room for the strap to fold neatly inside as well.

Great case for Nikon B700. Took out 1 strap and put camera on its side so as to grip hand hold, plenty of space left for camera strap. Stacks of room in front pocket for accessories. Decent waterproof cover
